Okay, welcome back to Tumblr takedown. In this video, we're going to talk about creating your adsense account so you can start making money with Tumblr. So really, what you're going to do here is you're just going to create an account in AdSense, you're going to go to the upper left hand corner and go to my ads. Here, you just press new ad unit, and then pick something that will go with your theme. You can view examples of ad types and sizes, and then select what type of ads you want to use. Then you can create a custom channel.

So you'll get the code and delete a few characters. Do you see here on the slide on the first line, that you're gonna copy and paste to your customized theme on your dashboard. This may take a little while to show up may take a few hours to show up. Okay, but if you need some more help with this, you can always go to Google Just you know type in adding your adsense account to Tumblr and there will be all kinds of extra more technical details here. But this is basically the way you do it's very simple but in the next video I'm going to talk to you about how to get approved for AdSense because you do have to get approved before you can actually use AdSense.
