Decide What to Write and Learn How to Publish
Section 1: Foster Personal and Professional Goals
Elaine L. Orr
Books require a lot of time, so you need to assess why you want to write one and how doing so fits into your personal and professional goals. If you aren't 100 percent sure what those goals are, now's a good time to develop them, and this section of the course will help you do that. A series of questions can help you focus on making conscious choices.
If you're starting your project when you have unlimited time and the resources to be jobless for a period, that's terrific. More likely you'll need to carve writing and publishing time from an already busy life. This section can help with that, too.
