DESCRIPTION: During the following analysis, we will implement the previously suggested process for reading a sculpture by proposing an example of a possible interpretation. We have chosen for the effect a classical Greek sculpture of a Funerary Lion.
Keeping in mind that, just like when reading a painting, one must contemplate both formal aspects as well as the content itself, let’s start by taking a quick glance at the important topics to consider globally:
