If you're watching this video, I hope that means that you just finished the YouTube tutorials for specific songs using the four basic chords. If you haven't done those yet, go back and do it. Those are some of the most useful fun and productive lessons of this entire course. And it lays the foundation for everything that's coming afterwards. And so the next things I want to look at is taking those four chords, teaching you how to make them more interesting. And then also showing you how you can take your own songs that you want to learn because I've given you 10 songs, and I want you to take 10 of your own songs and break them down into this simple format.

And so you can go start learning any song you want. There's literally thousands of songs that you can play with just these four chords. Later on in the course I've also got the two extra chorus so that you can master the entire key. But right now you're already well on your way. So the next couple of videos will show you chord variations, and then a little bit of music theory, just enough to get you started. And at the end of that you can go through into the later chapters of this course to really dig in for more details.
