DESCRIPTION: Pain in our dogs is something we just need to be really aware of. So for example, if your dog will always sit when you ask them to sit in the home and all of a sudden they won't do one day, then perhaps consider they might be in pain. I have worked with a lot of older dogs actually a lot of the behavior is the circumstances of them actually being in pain. Often issues with being handled, any sudden change in behavior or showing aggression towards other dogs or people are all signs your dog could potentially be in pain. Any change in behavior, I always recommend a vet check as your first point of call. There are other things that can cause a change in behavior, for example, if your dog is very stressed.
