DESCRIPTION: Playing with our dogs is very important, dogs love to play, and if they can get all those good feelings from playing with their owner (you) then the bond will strengthen between you. The more you can have fun with your dog, the more they are likely to come back to you, enjoy training, etc. With play, you don't need to do a lot, just be on the end of a toy. If you get too rigorous during play you will increase their arousal, which in turn will cause them to get overtired. Nice gentle play a few times a day is the key to play. We will do some videos in the Puppy Training Academy over the next few weeks to explain more about play.
