DESCRIPTION: I work with a lot of puppies that get to about 8/9 months and they start to show aggression, I am often called in to work with Resource Guarding when actually its more of a handling issue, and the puppy is guarding themselves from being handled. Please watch your puppies' body language when they are being handled, by you or anyone else. Look for signs they're not comfortable:

Tongue Flicks
Yawning 
Mouthing you 
Turning head away 
Ducking head 
Trying to move away
Seeing the whites of their eyes.

All of the above are subtle stress signals that show your dog is uncomfortable, it's important you stop handling if your dog is displaying any of these. Sometimes our dogs want to be next to us, or even on our lap but don't want to be stroked. A lot of issues can also come from having a pup in your arms and someone comes to say hello, if they go straight in to touch their head before giving your puppy time to process what they look like, and smell like, then this can cause issues with...
