DESCRIPTION: Crate Training A Puppy Having a crate is a personal choice, I prefer to crate train regardless of whether or not they are sleeping in one, purely because you never know if they may need to go on crate rest, and if they are crate training the experience is a lot more positive. Ensure the crate is in a quiet comfortable area in the home, a puppy will take a lot longer to crate train if they're in a busy area of the home, and only settle when they are shattered. Every pup will do this at a different rate, with some very quickly enjoying their crate, and others not so much. If your puppy sleeps in a crate at night ok, but not during the day it's just as important to crate train.
