DESCRIPTION: The Language of the Non-Conscious or the Subconscious mind is "suggestive"
When we are leading groups, suggestive language patterns that avoid words that might trigger an emotional response are the best way to lead a guided meditation.
The non-conscious is always on the lookout for language that could trigger old emotional wounds or struggles.
Avoiding these words will make your sessions relaxing and healing.
Should, But, Ought to, Must, Have to, and any other words that are similar.
Words that Command someone to do something often will meet with polarization during meditation.
Or what is termed an "Ab-Reaction" or abdominal reaction - this is where a trigger has set off the sympathetic nervous system (fight/flight) response.
Suggestive language patterns ease people into the quiet mind, quiet body, ease, and comfort.
This is optimal for leading Meditation Groups.
