Many people are confused and maybe even a little bit intimidated by the idea of meditation. Well, meditation simply means focusing, or rather trying to focus on just one thing. Now I say trying to focus because our minds get restless, distracted and busy. It's a job to try to focus on just one thing, because our busy minds tend to get in the way. I like to do a body awareness meditation. So it goes like this.
Identify where you hold the most tension in your body. For me, it's my job. So I focus on just relaxing my job. That's all there is to it. For one minute, focus On relaxing that one body part. Yes, you'll have distractions you'll get distracted.
But distractions are a part of meditating in one minute counts. And he said to his disciples, therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on for life is more than food and the body more than clothing. Luke chapter 12, verse 22,
