The Better Connect Academy (TBCA) is dedicated to offering online courses in the area of communication. We thrive to fill the communication gap between Hard of Hearing individuals and staff of different types of workplaces. We've been told over and over again that staff of all types of businesses/organizations/government agencies don't know how to provide effective communication with hard of hearing and deaf customers/clients/patients. They just have not been trained. At TBCA, we've created an online training course to help bridge the communication gap. The course includes techniques, facts, animation, and a quiz. Our online course is a certified Continuing Education course by the NCAAP (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals) and a CME (Continuing Medical Education) by the AAPA (American Academy of Physician Associates).
