DESCRIPTION: Most FAQ's I get are really about the format. Many people believe that resumes shouldn't be more than one page. I call B.S. because I believe that your resume should be based on the value you can convey. If you can develop a resume specific to a big problem that you can solve, then there is no doubt you can't get your worth. One of my biggest pet peeves is grids. Don't measure your skill or expertise on a bar or graph - be specific on levels. Beginner, intermediate, or advanced then explain in specifics on how well you are in that craft. From there, photos are a no-no in my book. It's a shame people are judgmental, but that's an unfortunate truth you need to be able to handle. Using a minimalistic resume is your best bet.
