Everyone, it's Justin Trevor winners and welcome to 60 seconds strip school, the 30 day screenplay. It's your first day. Are you excited? Are you terrified? Are you feeling like your life as a screenwriter is officially starting however you're feeling channel that energy, you're going to have to harness every possible emotion during this journey. Today we're going to be talking about where ideas come from the million dollar question.

A good idea can make you millions of dollars. All right, 60 seconds on the clock. Hit it. In order to generate and create original ideas. You have to find inspiration, Daydream, ease, drop, gossip, watch TV, watch movies, read books, watch viral videos, research. Sigmund Freud went for walks Hemingway.

He's swam. One of my dearest friends who's written on some of the biggest TV shows gets most of her inspiration while taking showers. How many of you get high? Just kidding, don't answer that question. I am not advocating drug use. Hunter S. Thompson.

I want you to carry an idea notebook with you for the rest of your life or just use your iPhone. When you have a great idea. Write it down immediately. If you don't write it down, you'll completely forget it. I've had an idea notebook since I was 18. I have over 100 pages single spaced of ideas and notes.

I revisit it almost every single day and I've never experienced writer's block producers will tell you that it's a strong idea that generally is the basis for getting a TV show made. So open yourself up and listen carefully. Your Muse is calling
