DESCRIPTION: Reading and responding to your dog
Learning to read your dog begins with careful observation. Many dog owners do not recognize the subtle signs in their dogs. By learning how dogs communicate emotional states we can respond more humanely, reduce risks of fear-based aggression, and build a stronger bond with our canine companions.
Dogs use every part of their body to signal their internal emotional state. Create a chart and state what information you are receiving from your dogs: eyes, hair, body position, mouth, ears, tail if they are displaying the following signs:

Anxiety
Arousal
Fear
Distress
Aggression
Playfulness
