Hi, I'm Scott merdan from Sam body.com. Welcome to part two of our series journey through the forest. And I'm here still in notice for Turo, I've been here for over a week now and really starting to enjoy my time here. It's one of the amazing things about being in the villages, the music that's played constantly. There's always someone here you're seeing one of their songs or playing guitar or playing on the drum. And sometimes these little mini concerts happen spontaneously and we all join in and it's very beautiful experience.

So today we're going to talk a little bit about emotions and healing and how we can use awareness to start to heal our emotions and change the behavior patterns that we get stuck in. In life. Generally, what happens is we get these emotions will get triggered, certain situations will arise people in our lives Trigger our emotions that can be very difficult to feel. And we retreat into our minds trying to figure out how to change the situation. And nothing ever really changes, we might have some kind of understanding of why the situation is created. But actually, what needs to happen is that we need to feel emotions, what's actually happening.

And the key here is real understanding comes through feeling. And that's where the opening happens. Once we get through the emotion that's causing a lot of issues and allies, we get the real insight and understanding what was happening and why it was created. So when I talk about emotions, I'm talking about the core emotional charges. You know, we go through different emotions every day, they come and go, but there are some emotions that are just always there and we resist them. We don't want to feel them and The thing about emotions as well as you know, you might just be feeling really sad one day, you might be feeling some pain.

And it's not that you're feeling sad, it's actually there are other emotions underneath those emotions. So this is why it's important to start feeling because then we can actually start to navigate into the deeper emotions that are there until we get to the core emotion. And what can happen there is we get into that emotion, the core emotion and it's it's excruciating to feel sometimes. It's just about practicing awareness being just opening to the experience. And through that, when we're meditating, we're able to bring that stillness that we feel into the emotion that we stop resisting. And that creates.

So these emotions that we're feeling they tend to get triggered in childhood and then you Very little things that that happened to us. You know, it's like, our parents didn't give us attention at some time or we're in the playground at school and some kids said something nasty. They might be seemingly very superficial things. But when we're in childhood, the massive experiences, that's when these emotions get triggered. In my experience with past life regression, they tend to be also connected to past lives. People go into these emotions.

And they start having these memories many hundreds of years ago, seemingly traumatic experiences that they start to see. But the thing is, it's not about the story of how it happened to what it happened. It's about just connecting to the original impulse of the closing that happened and through that is where Healing can can actually happen. And in past life regression, you may have many, many, many lives where the same emotion has been experienced and created closing, and trauma. So it can sometimes take a bit of time to really unwind these things. It's so healing, then becomes a practice.

It's not a disco get healed, and you don't have to feel that thing anymore. It's about bringing awareness into it and slowly letting these things open. But at the same time, you can go through massive shifts just by like when you're totally in the experience of the core emotion. Something can open spontaneously. Things can change for you. And the reason we do healing is because we want to connect to ourselves, these emotions, these core emotions that come up, disconnect us from ourselves.

We can't be ourselves anymore. We can't be who we want to be in life. And when we heal these emotions, something more about begins to come through, we begin to shine. And the other thing that begins to happen when we start to feel and heal these emotions is our desire starts to awaken. And also a desire can also be a source of triggering these emotions in us, we feel something that we want, and we know we can't have it, it creates this pain. There's someone that you're deeply in love with, that you have massive amount of desire for.

And they don't love you, they don't feel the same way. You feel disconnected, it creates this pain. And if you don't want to feel the pain, you retreat into your head, and then you get lost, start getting distracted by other things, you start trying to find other ways of feeding that pain and that desire. And it's never satisfying until you actually start doing this kind of why. So let's talk a little bit more about the healing process. So I'm gonna do a series of meditations with you.

And in those practices, we're gonna just stop feeling What's happening in our body, we're just gonna start with sensations that are there. When you go into the third eye space, and as we go into the body, we're gonna start to feel these things that are there that are arising. You know, you might do this practice, and you might feel really good. There's not gonna be much there to explore. When there's something to explore when there's an origin coming up. meditation can be very powerful for actually creating the healing.

So generally, what we're trying to do is connect. So I talked about the four components of the third eye meditation is breath, vibration, the visions that you see the qualities that emerge and stillness, and we're going to be working with those four components as we feel into what's arising, what's the experience, so so in the beginning, that sensation, you might feel a certain pain body and what's going to bring our awareness into that place which is slightly breathing into it. And connecting that sensation with the vibration in the third eye in the forehead. And then we're looking for two things, we're looking for impressions for qualities that are going to come through. So you might start to sort of see a structure there, or you might start to the pain might start appearing as the something that doesn't make sense to the mind at all. One of my early experiences of pain that I felt in my chest was this massive canyon in my in my chest, sort of boss desert.

And inside the desert was his Canyon. I traveled inside the canyon Canyon to the bottom of it, and there's this very sort of gentle stream. And if I didn't touch the stream, or the Martian started pouring out of me. So this is an example of that navigation with emotions. qualities and experiences are going to arise in your awareness, and we want to travel into them. Another example might be that it's very common experience, people feel intensity.

And something might appear like a big stone or big rock that's just sitting on them sitting on their chest and their belly. And I don't know what to do with it, I just feel really stuck in the way you might navigate that experiences by going inside the stones inside the rock, feeling the quality for the is it really hard. What kind of rock is it made out of and feeling the emotions that are there as well as the other key part is, as these experiences these qualities arising, there's an emotional quality attached to them a lot of the time as well. And then you just notice what changes since as we're navigating, we're always looking for what changes by including by going inside the experience by going by navigating into a deeper level of And through that we keep going deeper and deeper. And hopefully what starts to happen is is emotions start to come to the surface, and you're able to start feeling them properly.

And again, you want to navigate inside them, you want to feel deeply inside them, you want to be open with them, you don't want to try and do anything with it, it's gonna feel it and just accept that it's there. It can be quite painful. But this is the way to start releasing. And so there'll be an emotion, as I said before, like there's like an emotional pancake that we go through. And the emotion that's on the surface could be very different when you get to the bottom of it. And again, like these experiences from childhood are going to start to emerge or situations in your life.

And what we're looking for in past lives as well. What you're looking for is when did it start? What was the moment that triggered it? And you just want to feel that moment That's nothing to do with it, just feel it. And just open to that closing that happens, is gonna then stop. And then this is where stillness becomes really key because our minds are going to be thinking a lot trying to distract us.

But we can't come back to that stillness. Silence. We want to use that, to touch these places inside of these emotions, because that's what's going to create the healing. So it's the stillness that does the healing, there's nothing for you to do, except, feel it. So, so we've covered vision and awareness. And you're starting to understand what navigation is and how to use navigation and awareness and vision to start to heal your emotions and start to feel your emotions.

Think about wareness as well and this is you're gonna start to see the Mental loops that you get caught in mental beliefs that you get caught in that kind of stop you from from feeling. And that's why awareness is key because it's gonna allow you to step out of the loop out of the story out of the drama. It's important to understand the drama in the loop and why it's there. But ultimately, the change the healing we're looking for is done through feeling. And our next session, we're going to start exploring desire and approval, and how we can use desire and approval to create direction in our life and change and start to manifest things that we want to not lie. Because ultimately, healing the healing work that we do is a constant process.

There's always seems to heal things heal one thing, there's gonna be something else. And you might ask, what's the point of there's always things to heal and it's endless. The point is that you're you become awake, you become aware of a bigger sense of view and a bigger consciousness. is there for you to work with, that's essentially you. It's about becoming more of you. desire and approval gives you the direction rather than this endless cycle of healing.
