Hi, glad you're back with me day three. And it's all about gratitude. Not the normal gratitude we're used to, which is good. Often gratitude for something someone does for us. Just offering gratitude in general, it's all good. Having a gratitude journal, fantastic.

We can all write down things we're grateful for at the beginning of the day, but at the end of the day, it's all good. There's even gratitude apps you can get now on your phone where you can put in things you're grateful for during the day, which is a good idea to have that gratitude going throughout the day, then it can really make a difference. So what I do, one of the things that I found really helpful, helping with gratitude, which helps you through your day, it helps you through all the things that you've got to get through in your day. So one of the things I like to do is to have a trigger for practicing gratitude. So for me, it's my glasses and my phone. So in the morning when I wake up my glasses and my phone up on my bedside table, so I just grabbed them and with one hand I say think and the other hand of fair use, I just said thank you.

It's just a little thing that I do to help me just tuning as soon as possible in the day like straightaway, I like that, that gratitude straight away, it makes a big difference. And then throughout the day, whenever I take my glasses on or off, or I pick up my phone, actually when it rains, pick it up. Gratitude goes out the window, I forget to do it. But a lot of other times, I use my glasses and my phone as a trigger. And you can use anything as a trigger. Whatever you like.

It can be a water bottle, it can be a cap Whenever you put your hands on the steering wheel of the car, maybe a walk in or out the front door, pick up the water and care to water the garden, stand at the kitchen sink, open your computer. If you have a trigger, and you get used to the idea of that being your trigger, then it's really easy to practice gratitude throughout the day. If it's your computer, whenever you open your computer, you can ask Thank you, thank you and you can think whatever you like, whether it be the universe, whether it be your highest self, God, whatever you like, it doesn't matter. You can just say thank you. And it helps helps our brain connect with our body connect with that spirit. It is really, really significant.

And while we're being grateful also the other important thing that happens when we're having a thought about gratitude, whether it's expressing gratitude or thinking about something grateful for a brain can't think in a negative pattern. So it's really important for that. So if you can see softer gratitude as often as you can, for any little thing, doesn't matter what it is a grateful thought, stops negativity with our brain can't do those two things at the same time, gratitude and negativity. So I hope you can do that and hope it'll help you move forward, which is what we're all aiming for just to move forward. We've been on this journey, it's time to move forward to get that cancer patient, forget that identity and move forward to this wise warrior woman, this driver, the new identity, so you can be comfortable in your life.
