Through this video series, you will learn the most common causes for low back pain, how to self-evaluate what is likely causing your low back pain, and what to do to treat it to relieve your pain. It will help you walk through a simple self-evaluation of what movements and positions make your pain worse, and what non-low back structures may be causing the pain you actually feel in your back (it frequently is referred from somewhere else). Once you've found the group that seems to correlate with your painful movement, you'll learn simple self-treatment techniques that may help with the discomfort you've been having. Limitation and disclaimer: These series of videos describe the screening and treatments that I have done on hundreds of patients. While these have wide applications and high success rates, watching videos does not in any way equate to individualized evaluation and treatment by a healthcare provider. These videos do not apply for patients in pain that severely limits their normal daily activities or those with pain shooting down their leg. Any changes in your ability to control bowel and bladder function or unrelenting pain that is not affected by movement and position are signs of a serious medical issue that requires an in-person medical evaluation. If you have any concerns or feel more pain after any of these activities, discontinue them immediately and contact your healthcare provider.
