So this is my friend Amanda. And I'm going to do tutorial on how to do a great style for teenagers and also share with you my system for interviewing as teenager when they come in for their up deal in the prom season. And the first thing I don't want to hear about is how they want their hair. And I know that sounds a little strange, but I want to get a read on the teenager to see what kind of a mood she's gonna be in. Is she excited about this event, it might be a step mother's bridesmaid thing and she's not happy to get her hair done. It might be a prom and she's great.

You know, just knowing that How to scan the class and she's excited happy, or she might be going with her cousin and dragged along to his school prom. So there are so many variables in working with teens just to get a read on where they are emotionally and so you can ask the professional pickup on the needs they have. So yes to come in and get their hair done. But if she's excited now you can be excited with her if she's kind of an act, you know, you can say hey, let's, let's make this a great day. Let's make use pretty nice girl in the room. And, you know, we'll make it fun.

And so, I when they first come in, I like to ask, what are where are they going? And if it's a local girl, where's where's the prom gonna be? Where's the venue? Because right away I think you're going to ask about their hair. And by throwing them off a little bit, you are stepping into a leadership position. So I always ask, tell me about where's the prom this year?

Oh, okay. You know, because you're walking to the chair or whatever, even if they're in your chair. Where's the prom this year? Oh, it's gonna be that it up. Well tell me about your dress. Oh, it's so gorgeous.

Oh my God, oh, blah, blah, blah. You might get that or you might get well, whatever. You know, I wore it last year, or it's my sister's and it's really stupid. So then you can adjust your questions and how you want to champion her champion beat to champion her and that is how you win over the teams. After I get a read on her personality and want to get some style questions. Now when a teen looks in the mirror and they say Find a lot of time in the bathroom, right?

So he looks in the mirror a lot at this age and when usually by themselves. So I always ask, so if you were to look in the mirror, what do you want to see with this up? Do you like your front? We always start with the front. Is this your normal part? Yes.

Would you like to feel somewhat normal when you look in the mirror? Oh, yeah, that would be good. Because usually they don't want to not be themselves in a sense. So okay, then this is your parts who are going to do that. So do you have any pictures for me today? Now you can see how much communication happened.

And she knows I'm paying attention to her. And now I can look at hair pictures. And even if they throw hair pictures at me right away and they're on their phone looking through their hair pictures and say, You know what? You put your phone down for a second. And I will come this way and chat with her to find out what it is that
