All right, now we're going to finish up the basic renders on the second figure. I'm going to go on to the mask on highlight layer three, come back on the line art. And I'm going to start at the foot again. Alright, so here, just like before, we're on like kind of final finishing highlights just to give it that extra oomph. So I'm just going to create a few highlights kind of creating the illusion of some sort of anatomy and these toes again, trying to fit with the stylized anatomy that kept drew into the figures. So yeah, I know.

Adam brush and these highlights Go. Put a little bit of a shine on this toenail right there. Smaller shine on each of the smaller toenails. All right. Now we're going to emphasize the kneecap a little bit here with a highlight. I'm gonna use the gradient tool here just to show you how that you can actually use in the current grad you can actually use an actual grad and I just kind Didn't brush but now I'm going to add sharper highlight on these kind of bicycle shorts he's wearing here, isn't it?

Oh. Now, I'm gonna skip these because like I said these I want those darker so they recede a little put a highlight on the clavicle. My chest here and here, I want to try to hit the top of the shape. The highlight doesn't go all the way down so it just kind of fades into the original shape a bit. Do something Similar here. Again here.

Let's do it. This way you can do is control the highlights and it makes it look like you're doing some blending since you're not going all the way to the edges of your selections. All right and do some Are highlights on the gauntlet here and trying to make it look like there's light shining off it All right. I'll put a hard highlight right in the center here. This gauntlet and I'm just gonna do a few really skinny ones. They're not here to go Want to make sure you pure periodically save when you're calling because never fails.

If you're a start gaining rush and you get a lot of work done and you hadn't saved it something horrible is gonna happen it's gonna crash you're gonna lose all your progress. It's not as bad now as it used to be. I used to have Photoshop crashed on me all the time. But luckily, computers can handle the load a little bit better nowadays than they used to, like 510 years ago. Notice I keep the the forum here I keep in the brighter highlight more towards the end here. For recedes a little bit down there.

That falls into shadow. All right. Now let's do the head. It's gonna put a brighter highlight on the top, the ear, both sides Actually fade this out a little bit towards the bottom. It was pretty good. Highlight at the center like the tip of his nose there on the lip on the chin just a slight bit on the cheeks Something I noticed missed, I haven't done the mount at all.

So I go back down to highlight layer two. I don't really need to do the underlying highlights this section. I just want to do very, very light highlight there. Go back to three and put a highlight towards the tip of the tongue. There we go. And now I'm in the way the teeth gets white pretty fast.

I don't think I need multiple highlights here. That Gonna go in and pull in some shadows. Some areas of the teeth nothing too strong. The select on me There we go. Looks pretty decent. I might put a little bit of a cast shadow from an upper lip on these top chompers.

There we go. All right. Now let's put some hotter highlights on the hair to make it seem like it has a bit of a shine. It actually I'm going to fat too. All right, as you can see with the highlight color it's not really showing up at all. So I go to my flats a select that hair.

I turn my renders back on. Go over to the color layer. I am going to try a few of these light oranges like that let's see this lighter one looks a bit better huh? might work but might be a little bit too hot so I'm just going to put a 40% normal fill all that there I think that looks pretty good. So that's gonna be my highlight layer. All right.

And I wonder if I can slick yeah reselect thing that didn't do it. I want to try and get these highlights again because now that I can see it. Yeah I'm going to redo them I think I can make them a little bit less harsh that's it this way kind of fades out a little bit towards the edges for better highlight yeah like that then Two highlights up here on the hair. Put a highlight to the center these just a very gentle one they're there. That's nice. Nice Guy nice find across his hair.

Alright and basically done with renders on him now one thing you notice on the skin you know the highlights kind of go to this like washed out white green, which I don't like as much green as well as colors I find difficult to get the highlights To go to the to like a warmer color like I want. reds can sometimes be challenging too, but I've gotten better with reds greens, though I still find challenging. So now it's kind of like we did with the hair and few other locations where I tweaked the highlight color, you can try and do that with the green. Again, like I said, it's difficult. So here's another trick, I like to do a little bit of a cheat. All right, great.

The flats, select all the green area renders back on. I'm going to create a new layer and I'll call this one green. And then I am going to show you here directly and we're going to go and find Where's it darken there it is and which I believe is also the Shift Option k yeah it is Shift Option K to get that. So I'm going to set the layer to that. I'm then going to go grab this light green here and we're going to fill now you notice it affects all the lighter areas doesn't affect slightly the darker areas too but mostly it like darkens in the lighter areas are now there's more of a color instead of that white. There's now more of a color bit of a warmer green there.

They might want slightly warmer so I'm gonna take that green do like a 40% film. Yeah, I kinda like that. So now Now the greens is a little bit closer to the look, I want it for that. Alright, and now just like we did on this guy and add some golden rim lighting to him coming from the background. So actually I'm going to first add a little bit to this leg. All the highlights on this side.

I'm just going to do a light, light fill there and I'm going to select enter. Hi highlights. Gonna make a little bit brighter. That's pretty good. And I'm actually gonna use the grid tool again. There.

It was good. All right, I'm going to do a little bit down here. That's a little bit too hard. The brush Peter straighten the leg on me a little here. I want to select then this little shape here on the gauntlet I'm also going to put that golden light in. Especially as this right up against for the flare is important.

All right. Yeah, that's pretty good. I'm gonna save it there. All right now, the next step Do some more room lighting on this side. He has these this energy coming from his fist there. I'm not gonna leave it as black, I'm probably going to just to help pop it off from the orange yellow background and probably going to make it to a purplish lavender sort of thing.

So I am going to create some sense of light coming from that I'm going to copy this golden light layer. I'm going to select the mask, fill out black to you know, to clear it and then I'm going to change this color to this purple here. I come back to the mask and I am going to start injecting a little bit of purple light coming from that energy He's gonna put that in on the edges brush Pretty good demo. Put so long the size of those ribs here. gone down was spelt to that kind of lightly then put another cut Here's where we do some rendering on this leg going to 40% black woman mask to push that back just a little bit. There we go.

Thanks, I want to use the circular gradient show that originated from here, pull it down here on there. That's pretty good. So, now at this point, close up the figure groups. At this point we are done with our, the main rain stage and next, we are looking in some options for special effects. So I'm just going to save this and then Save into the special effects folder. So we have a separate file for the special effects and in the next video we will dive into special effects.
