DESCRIPTION: Organs
A group of tissues joins together to form an organ. Each organ has a different form and function. They play an important part in the human system. There are various types of organs in the body and each has its own location and contribution to the body in order to maintain a good balance.
Organs sometimes secrete substances as a part of their role in the system. Some organs are meant to absorb substances. Some organs have muscles attached around them either for protection or for movements.
Organ system
Individual organs come together to form an organ system. There are nine primary body systems:

Integumentary
Musculoskeletal
Cardiovascular
Respiratory
Endocrine
Reproductive
Nervous
Digestive
