In order to continue to operate in the City of New York, the designated construction worker is required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training and to carry site safety identification cards as proof of completion of the training (As per New York City Local Law 196 of 2017 also known as ‘LL196’ or ‘Local Law’). This course provides two hours towards the satisfaction of that requirement.

Course Requirements

• Submit verification of records that show that you are the person taking the course by uploading a headshot and ID at the beginning of the course.
• 100% attendance for the 2 Hour Pre-Task Meetings course.
• Completion of Continuing Education and Training Registration Form (If Necessary)
• Completion of all course modules.
• Passing the final quiz with a minimum score of 70%.
• Participation and submittal of end-of-course evaluation form (must provide name on form to receive credit)

To receive a certificate/card for the course, students must:

• Students will receive an SST Supervisor card (requires OSHA 30 and 10-Hour SST certification to obtain)
• Be able to clearly communicate with the instructor and complete all paperwork in the language in which the course is delivered.
• Attend all required hours of the course.
• Actively participate in class activities and reviews.
• A 62-Hour SST supervisor wallet card from ABC Safety Group will be issued to the participant within 3 days of successful completion of the course.

Confirmation of Satisfactory Completion

• To confirm that learners have satisfactorily completed the course, the following measures are in place:
• Module Completion Tracking: The LearnDesk.us platform monitors and records the completion status of each course module for every learner.
• Final Assessment: Learners must complete a final quiz and achieve a score of at least 70% to pass. The quiz is automatically graded by the platform.
• Course Evaluation: Upon finishing the course, learners are required to complete an evaluation form, providing feedback on the course content and delivery.
• Certificate Issuance: After meeting all course requirements, learners receive a digital certificate of completion, which includes their name, course title, completion date, and CEU credits earned (If requested).
• Record Keeping: ABC Safety Group staff regularly review course completion records, quiz scores, and evaluation submissions to ensure compliance and maintain accurate records for IACET accreditation purposes.
