4. Recent File and Revit Application Menu

Hello everyone. In this chapter we are talking about the two aspects of user interface in in Revit. The recent file scheme and application menu. The left side this is the application menu can see that there are option of a model. In this model there are two option that is open and new. As well as below there there is families there are two options open and new.

In this in this application menu, you can see that if you click that open a Revit model file. You will have a list of DWT file that you want to open. So you can use an open any file where you already logged in. And the second there is option of a new file when you click it New File option. So new project, template file will be open. You have to select here what What are the templates you want to use, if you want to use for construction construction template, you can click it.

If you want to use the architecture, the structure, or a mechanical template, whatever the template you want to use, you can use from here or you don't have that template that you want to use, you can go to the Browse option, or you can select the templates from this menu. There are lots of templates saved by the Revit. So and and this is the option of the new project I'll cancel right now. Now below that there is a family option in the dough family, the window family whatever the option, whatever the families you want to open, if you have already have a family you can open it on IE you have to create a new family so you can create it according to you. So these are the options are almost same. and here we can see that is the right side there is a recent file These are the files that you recently used, you can click it or you can open it, whatever the files you want to work in, or you want to continue to work.

So you can use that files, just just scroll your mouse. So you can see that there are families just like same, the decent families are there, and the reason models are there. So that is all about the recent File menu and application menu. Thanks for watching.
