Level 4 focuses on some more essential skills: self-control, down, and target. You will build on the self-control skills your dog has already learned by teaching a fun trick to amaze your family and friends. You will teach your dog to lie down, a very useful skill, and the basis for teaching your dog to relax. You will teach your dog how to hit a target with his nose. In this level, your hand is the target. This task forms the foundation for many useful behaviors later closing doors, ringing doorbells, and figure 8 leg weaves are all taught by building on the concepts learned in this level.
