You can listen right through the meditations and it will help you feel calm and relaxed. Or you can listen to specific meditations. These meditations will help you create a safe, easeful surgery experience. You don't have to believe in the power of these strategies. Just by listening to them, they will seep into your unconscious mind and your subconscious will do all the work for you. If you have difficulty visualising - this tip is particularly important to you. Just feel it. Your conscious mind does not have to do anything! These meditations are useful, powerful strategies not only for before surgery, during and directly after surgery, but for the rest of your life. We cannot guarantee that by following these strategies you will have a reduced or pain free, complication free surgery with a speedy recovery (although anecdotally this has been the case). We do, however, believe that by listening to them and following the instructions the meditations will make a positive difference to your experience.
