Now that we're already inside, we've set up our account whether it's free or Pro, you're going to want to verify the email that comes through inside your inbox, go over there, check that make sure that you get your account verified, and that you of course, entered in the right email, right. Sometimes people do do that. It's common mistake. So double check that you got that signed up correctly. Once you hop back over here, you're going to see that we have multiple social networks. I'm going to go ahead and start with Facebook first.
What you're going to want to do is of course, login there, give that password, whatever that login is, it'll naturally connect it. You're just going to give it some permissions. Say, yeah, you can take this Don't worry about it. I trust this app, which is going to be the Hootsuite Hootsuite app. Here we go. We'll just say continue as men.
Your name Correct. Click one more time, okay. You want everything to be public, of course, because when you post, you want to make sure that everyone's going to see what you're posting, right? You don't want these things that the app is doing, posting on your behalf to be just for your friends or just for your groups or something like that. You want it to be a public statement. Unless of course, you have private groups that you're posting to.
With this. You can even edit, choose what you allow, I allow everything. And again, we're just doing a natural quick setup with some my accounts. Then it's going to instantly say, Okay, you got your Facebook all set up. Let's move to the next one. So, again, I'm going to go through I'm going to say, Hey, you know, I want to add my sales funnel secrets, my personal page.
Here's this as well as my personal profile. You know, I want all those things. As you can see, there's a I, I had to disconnect a few of the other ones, but I did have to keep a few connections for my actual old account, but I made a test one so that way you guys can understand and see how quickly and easily it is to connect these networks. And if you have another Hootsuite account, you shouldn't and if it's free, you can just go into each of these social medias, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. Go into or type into Google, you know, Pinterest apps, Facebook apps, permissions, and then you go to that page and you just delete that. And then you can reattach it to the new account.
If you have any issues like that. You shouldn't because again, hopefully this is your first time registering understanding how powerful this is. So I've got a few connected, that's good enough. We can again, go through YouTube, it's going to have you log in Google Plus, it's going to have you log in just is going to ask for permissions at each step as you log into the account, saying, Do you know that this is trying to access and post on your behalf? Yes, I do allow that to happen. So now we're going to go through, alright, my company name is just me, I'm my own brand.
So I like you know, being the attractive character being able to create the product. So we'll go inside, we'll go either marketing or if they're, you know, whatever fits decently. So we'll go with consulting, that's just something to start off with. And we're small company. All done. And then once you have that set up, they're gonna just give those statistics so that way you can start understanding a little bit about how much time you save, how much it helps, etc.
That's the whole reason of getting that set up. And they can also help tweak and give you better campaigns in a sense with your tracking your time. data, which we'll get into a little bit more further down the line. So, again, as you can see, here's my social media networks over here. And we're going to be publishing content monitoring networks. We'll be diving into that.
