Okay, so one of the first things that you're going to be getting started with in order to get on YouTube is, of course, creating an account. Now, if you already have a Gmail account, and you would like to use that account, again, that account is going to be getting notifications to it regarding your YouTube channel, you can use that and simply log into Gmail. And that will also log you into YouTube and many of the other platforms that Google of course has, it's kind of a one sign in all the platforms sort of deal. But the main idea to keep in mind is that if you do not want a specific email attached to your brand, then you should design an email that is specifically set up just for that. And the best thing about this is that you can actually even set up mail forwards so that way it goes into your main email account, but inside of a subfolder so that anything that comes to that email address is kind of separated to the side you know that that's all YouTube and YouTube marketing and any company contacts or people that reach out to you, they will end up inside of that folder.

So you're going to know as well as how effective your marketing has been. If people start, of course contacting you through your channel, you can list that Gmail, or if you have a website that you would like to obviously promote, then you can list that as well. And that can be your contact email, it does not have to be the YouTube account email. The only reason I suggest keeping a separate YouTube account or Gmail is really again, just to keep that separation. So that all of those comments that you're going to be getting anyone that subscribes, you're just not going to be flooded in your inbox. And that kind of you know, leads to what I call email blindness, which is there's important emails you should be reading.

And there's the YouTube ones, which are just basically little blip notifications that should be deleted on the spot. So if you put all those inside of a folder, I'll show you how to do that, then it's going to make your life a whole lot easier. So again, just simply Create a Gmail account. Once you do that, you will be naturally signed into your YouTube account. And here I am signed in. Again, if I were to go to my gmail.com that would be me signed into my Gmail, make one account.

It lists you on all of its networks that are available. So that's the first thing that you want to do before we begin
