All right, now that you're logged in, one thing I want to do is really set your expectations because I think that too many people come into YouTube thinking they're going to be overnight sensations, millionaires have 10s of thousands of subscribers right out of thin air. And that's really just not the case. And kind of, like I mentioned before, is that marketing is not really what YouTube's about. YouTube is about entertainment. So anything that's entertaining will do literally 10 to 20 times better than something that is there. usually in the form of marketing or teaching teaching is about still 10 times more popular than marketing.

Why? Because people don't go somewhere to get marketed. They go somewhere to learn something. So if you're teaching, that sort of angle is going to get you much better results. In fact, I kind of did a little bit of mainly marketing. That's what most of my youtube channel was about.

It was my broadcast emails and I was marketing to my email list. So that's really why, if we go over here, you're going to end up seeing, I don't have a lot of subscribers. That's the very foundation of what I'm trying to say in regards to marketing. Now, there is a lot more of my recent content in the last few weeks that has been more geared towards teaching because I'm out of that marketing phase. I just basically reuse those videos for my email list. And I have about 150 plus of those videos.

So again, I like to use that for marketing purposes. But if you do it for more of teaching purposes, for example, like Alex ganic, inside of Udemy, he even has a YouTube channel start and grow your business and he has about 25,000 subscribers. Now I'm going to let you know that I even worked with Alex about six months ago, and he had somewhere around 20,000. So again, he's grown in the last six months by about 1000 to 900 or so subscribers at Every month, I'm also starting to do the same in the sensibility of I'm growing by about 10 to 15%, every single month ever since I've gotten more focus on again, teaching, rather than the marketing, but if you have something where you're doing teaching naturally, or you're doing something that is entertainment, then you have nothing to worry about. But for everybody else, I'm just letting you kind of realize the reality of what this is.

And why does he have 25,000 subscribers? Well, he's produced nearly 1000 videos. So if you do the math on that, and he has been on YouTube for, I believe, somewhere in the range of six to seven years. So with that being said, He's getting about one subscriber, I'm sorry. He's getting about 30 subscribers for every one video he makes. So that's just again, kind of the reality that since he's not in entertainment, he's teaching people how to do things, make money online, grow their business.

Notice that it's not nearly going to be as popular as maybe a PewDiePie video that just shows him commentating over video gameplay. Again, that's entertainment. That's what people are usually on YouTube for. So do keep that in mind. And you can kind of realize that, you know, I even have right here. This is a tech video where he's teaching people how to do tech videos in Spanish.

He has 50 subscribers, and he's made 30 videos. So again, for every video he's made, he's gotten about 1.5 subscribers. That's just kind of the reality of what it's going to be when you first start out, it's going to be slow, and it kind of ramps up over time it does more of a scenario where it's just kind of a graph that starts slow starts slow and then it starts picking up. I can't tell you what those numbers are going to be for you because every industry and niche is different. But again, it starts like this keeps gaining and then you hit this point where the traction really shoots up. And it's, it's kind of divided up into four different scenarios I like to cover, and you have kind of your beginning, your init phase, the mid.

And then kind of what I call here, the celebrity, it's kind of a play on the word celebrity, you're a web celebrity. And after that point, obviously, everything that you do, you're just naturally motivated because you go, if I make a video, I'm going to make, you know, a couple hundred, or maybe even a couple thousand dollars every single time I make a video. Whereas in the beginning, you're going to be making nothing in it, you're going to make very little to nothing in the middle, it starts becoming profitable, if that's what you're looking to use YouTube for as a platform where you get paid as a content creator. But once you're a celebrity, that's where it really takes off. And I know that's where a lot of people want to be but you're not going to you have to go through all these Have these phases in order to end up at this place where you've kind of been dreaming yourself to be.

So just realize that the more that you do correct up front, the quicker you develop as a user and a youtube content creator
