So we want to insert our keywords. We've got paste title, URL h1 tags. Now, a tag is an HTML code that tells the Google search engine or any search engine, what type of content This is. So we'll have a page title, we have a URL h1 tag now, it depends. It's different for different websites. h1 tags are pretty standard.

But if you're using a CMS or content management system, like we do with Squarespace, you don't often get front end access to the HTML. You can go in and add HTML, you can do that. But you don't have access to the coding side. I think that's the easiest way to say it. So you have to look at your particular website, you have to look, if it's on WordPress, it's gonna be slightly different. It might be different templates are slightly different, might be a CMS content management system, which is basically supposed to be drag and drop that we use with Squarespace.

But that's what What a tank is. So we've got body content site navigation, image tag content Lake, we've got nap in the footer, we've got loads of places where we can actually put keywords. When we're placing our keywords, we want to at least have two from the first row. So pay site URL h1 tag, we want to try and have two keywords that are not the same keyword. We're going to explain that in a moment. And then we probably want to pick another two from the next row.

And then we also then probably want to have a content link, as well with some keyword groupings on that as well. And then obviously, we're gonna have the nap in the footer, as we've showed earlier on the website, if that's appropriate for your particular business, just a name, address, phone number data in the footer. So let's just think about this. Now we've got all these keywords we need to place them in these places. These are the priorities. This is the order by the tighter your h1 tag that's going to give you the biggest SEO, then body content site navigation, image tag, content links.

And then we've got a nap in the footer. We don't want to put loads of keywords in there. But we do want to put maybe one keyword and main keywords sometimes. Now, one of the key things we need to understand is this principle I'm going to show you here avoid keyword spamming. We don't want to put plumbing in the page title, the URL, the h1 tag, the body content site navigation content link in the image tag. We don't want to put that in there as the only keyword that's old SEO.

So we want to do is we want to vary that so we've got plumbing Peterborough at Peterborough, plumber, Plumbing Repair, plumber, Peterborough, plumbing services, emergency plumber, Peterborough, plumber, plumbing. Now, we don't want to just keep repeating these all the way through but want to make sure they're in there because Google are looking for indicators that are keywords are delivering relevant content, but if I start seeing a spamming and piece of plumbing in there, nine times, they're just going to start downgrading that site because I think in your keyword spamming, this is not a good user experience. And if you understand that, Google wants someone to look at the page and have a good user experience, they want to return a search result actually benefits the person. So it's really really, really important that we spaced out like this. But if we use a strategy like this, we go into Keyword Planner.

And we start to find some variations like this, we can build on one page, some really interesting keyword density without keyword spamming. Now, I just want to mention meta descriptions, meta descriptions have no SEO value, but they do have call to action value. Now, people on the internet are debating this all the time, but I'm with the crowd that says no SEO value. I've read some of the articles and done some of the research. And there's very little evidence that we're getting keyword value out of a meta description. But they do provide call to action value.

So let me show you what they actually look like. So we know what we're talking about here and why people get confused. Okay, so, online marketing Peterborough. So if someone's looking for online marketing, this is the first page of the results. And as we scroll down, I'm going to see our website comes up. And then we're going to see helping online instructors sell courses online.

So sell courses online course creation training, online course marketing training, that's the meta description from our homepage. So you can see online marketing specialist based in Peterborough, I've put that in there in the title and that's the title of the page. And that's ranking for when someone says online marketing Peterborough. That's why. Now underneath that is the meta description. Now because it's highlighted people go, Oh, that's index online, online, online online.

That's not an index value. That's just Google. Look in the meta description, here's something that's relevant to what you're actually saying. So that you can use the meta description to create a call to action. And help people actually come through meta descriptions be filled out differently in different web platforms. So we're not going to go into that too much.

All you got to do is figure out how to change the meta description for each page. Very good as a way to create call to action, very poor for SEO. If you think differently, or you know something, I don't please share it with me. But this is the wisdom I found that most of the top local SEO experts actually hold too. So let's just have a look very quickly at this website and look at how maybe we've used some of the keywords here. So Emergency Electrician, Delaware, Montgomery Chester that's in the top of the page.

Again, we've got Emergency Electrician here. Now if you have a look, we've got emergency electrical work, so we've got stuff in the title. And as we scrub go down, we've got these bullets of the things we're going to cover so We're not just covering a military electrician, we're actually now targeting power outages, flickering light circuit breakers, electrical repairs, and then we're going to have power outage. And then we're going to have some useful relevant content, what to do if you have a power outage, we're going to provide some tips. We're going to talk about flickering lights, we're going to target these keywords. And as we build this deep content as we go down, we're going to see that those keywords combined, what people are actually searching for, are going to create some really good keyword data that Google can pick up now this is a very new website.

So we're still working on the SEO for this was in fact, was still in the trying to get Google to approve the Google Local page phase at the time of recording. But if we then go and have a look at a commercial electrician, we've done the same thing. So commercial and industrial electrician now notice the title slightly different commercial, industrial, electrical work, commercial and electrical work. And then we go into some of the technical terms that people might be looking for. And we maybe explain that a little bit and so people can understand it. And they're going to search for all these things.

So now we've got some it's not fin content is good content, and it's relevant. So if we go residential interior electrician now you'll notice on the other page, we're competing for residential exterior, but this one's interior. You're gonna see that we're starting to target these keywords. So residential interior electrician, residential interior electrical work, we've got a difference going on. We've got power outlets, we've got ceiling fans, electrical panels. We've got exhaust fans, if someone's searching for this in association with an electrician, then that's going to be really beneficial.

If we go to home, Master electrician with over 18 years experience. The reason that is that is because people search for master electrician more than you realize. So we've found that we've made sure that that is two things. One is Seo rich. And two, it communicates the value of this particular service. And obviously, this is the homepage here as a link page to all these other pages.

So we've got some top level category, Master electrician, and then we're going to drill down into there. So we've got the silos, as we mentioned earlier, and then they can just click through into any of these, access some more information. So that's just a brief overview of how we might use some keywords to actually take advantage of semantic search, not keyword spamming. We want to make sure that people can actually find what we're sharing and it's actually relevant to them. And the intent of the search has the potential of being met through our web pages.
