Planning your ebook. There are four areas that we need to talk about your E book, to establish clarity and focus for the finished product that we're going to produce. This process determines our productivity. Remember, in our strategy lecture, I mentioned that in every task or work that you need to do, make sure that you're doing only one thing at one time, so that you can achieve the result that you want and be productive. So, let's get started. We have four areas to keep in mind about our ebook.

That will be purpose, topic, core message and left. Let's go through them one by one. First, you need to determine your purpose for writing an E book. Why do you want to write and publish an E book? What do you want to achieve? What's your Why?

Do you know that knowing your purpose for writing, and publishing an E book has much to do with your choice of topic. So, first things first, decide on your purpose for writing an E book. Is it for personal reasons. For example, you just want to express your creative self in writing and have a published piece of literature. It's not important to you whether you'll have sales or not. There is a place for that but I hope This is not your purpose.

Or maybe you like to earn some profits from your writing, and use it to promote yourself in your career or industry and make a real information business out of it. For me, I hope that this would be your purpose. You're going to take some investment of time, efforts and resources on writing, publishing, and promoting your ebook. Might as well expect some financial returns. So you can repeat the process over and over again. The more information you release out there, the more people you can help.

So which one are you? What's your purpose for writing an E book? Once you have determined why you want to write an E book Now, you can create a statement of purpose. Ask yourself the next questions. Who's the audience you're writing the ebook for? What is it that you want them to learn through the information that you will share or teach through your ebook.

And last, what's the benefit of learning that information or solution you're presenting to them? I've just given you a template on how you can come up with a clear purpose for your E book. This is important, as it will help you write and develop content with clarity and focus. And it will save you a lot of time. An example would be for someone writing a book for people who suffer from too much distraction in life and work and Who wants to take control of their time, so that they could start working on their personal dream projects and leave fulfilled lives. The statement of purpose will be something along the lines of I want to help people that work and in business, who suffer chronic distraction from everyday demands, to learn to control their time, and be in charge of their everyday activities, so that they can start working on their personal dream projects and leave fulfilled lives.

Got it? It's so clear, you can get lost with your content flow. We will go back and discuss more about identifying your audience and achieving focus in the lectures to come. Before now, just make sure to create addressed, writing out your ebook statement of purpose and following our template. Now, let's go to the next step of the process. However, I believe most of you, if not all of you must be here because you expect financial returns on your ebook.

That's exactly what we're going to have when we do it the right way. That is finding a topic that has some sort of market demand. It has become clear through our research, that your topic may not be something that people look for. I respectfully suggest that you laid it aside for the moment and take another topic that you are sure someone looks for online at this Buying, you should have decided what topic you're going to write about. Are you still looking through your list of options? Or are you clueless what to write about?

All you've decided is that you will write an E book. Which one are you? There are different angles that we can look at here. When it comes to choosing a topic, others will tell you to find a niche or a topic that has high demand and consider that as your topic, regardless of your interest, or lack of interest. The other side of this is just write about your favorite topic, regardless of its market demand, as long as you're interested. Again, your choice of topic depends on your purpose for writing an E book.

But those that have experienced success in their ebooks have topics that are in the intersection of interest and market demand. Which means you need to choose topics that you have interest to a certain degree. And that is proven to be profitable. This is because it's more difficult to force new ideas to the market, then take whatever is already selling out there and use that as a leverage to make profits from our E books. Don't worry, there are many choices out there. We just need to find them.

And that's exactly what we're going to do. In getting ready to write section we're going to explore ideas from the marketplace for Our ebook. At this point, it's important to give a title to the ebook that we're working on. So go ahead and write a title in your document. If you're not sure yet, we'll call this a working title. Then later on, we'll come up with a final title.

You should know that we need to make a great title. If we want potential readers to take notice of your ebook. This is critical for the sales of your ebook. Think of it as your first impression to your readers. If you have several titles in mind, you may list them as well. But you need to have one working title to continue.

But at this point, I just want you to come up with at least one working title to make your ebook project get going. In this ebook, we are focusing only on one problem that your readers may have regarding to harness the power of one, one problem, we're going to center our ebook around this. And we're going to address this one problem, that at the end of the book, everything that they need to do is so clear that they can remember what step 1234 and five it's very vivid in their minds that they can see it and visualize it even before taking action. That's even better, because it compels them to act based on the solution that they would receive from your ebook.

By the intense focus that we're going to bring in the one problem approach in our ebook, we're going to make sure that it's comprehensive. This is what makes the ebook effective and helpful. It's concise and straight to the point that those who are interested in your topic will definitely be hooked in reading it from start to finish, and even look for your next ebook. That's what typically happens when you're able to target the one desire, pain point or problem faced by the people in your topic. This will be your ebooks, core message.
