How to develop content that stand out. Before you start to write and research about the topics for your ebook, you need to identify first important things about your target audience. What exactly are they asking? What do they need? What do they look for? This is what we did in the last section.

Identify your focus. At this point, you should be able to tell what specific problems your target audience are seeking solutions about. By knowing this things. You are able to develop content that fits right to your audience needs. By doing this, you're sure that you're delivering what they need. They will seek out what you've got in your ebook and you're helping them know This is the content that your readers get excited about.

There are many ways we can do this type of research for your ebook, we're going to discuss three resources that you can use to develop in demand content for your audience. In this presentation, what we're going to do is first look at this resources that I'm going to show you. And then we're going to collect information and take notes. By the end of this lecture, I will show you the notes I've taken from this content research that we're about to do. Let's go ahead, similar to researching which topic to write your ebook about. We are looking back to Amazon Kindle.

Remember the best selling pieces in your topic. We are going back to this Books and we're going to take a look a little deeper on what specific areas they discussed in the book. We are going to use again the take a look inside feature of Amazon Kindle book. This is very cool because we can sneak through the chapters of these books. Remember, we are not here to copy We are here to gather ideas on what specifically to write about our ebook topic. I typed our topic in the Amazon search bar and click Search.

And this is what I got. We are going to take a look at the best sellers. These are ads, the one with sponsored so I would take a look at this one. The Productivity project, accomplishing more by managing your time, attention and energy While here, I'll click on look inside. I am looking for the table of contents. And there it is.

Once again, we can see what topics this book has tackled. We're going to read it and take notes. We can see that it has eight chapters. And it talks a lot about all aspects of productivity. So I'm going to go out now. And in this we can see again the book description.

And if we want to read more, we can click here. While you're here looking at the best selling books in your topic, you can also take a look in the customer review section. It's a little below the product description down below. Hear customer reviews, read what the customers are saying with these ratings. For example, six to 9% gave a five star review so if we click here we can see all these reviews According to this, there are 136 reviews that gave five star for this book. It's very useful reading all these reviews, because you'll never know what ideas you can take as topics for your E book.

For example, this reviewer is saying or suggesting something. I definitely suggest highlighting the E book and trying out many of the recommendations he suggests at the end of each chapter. I also recommend keeping a reflective journal about your productivity, and write about what's working and not working with your task management strategy. This is a good suggestion as you write your own topic. If you take this suggestion, you can take the next pages of your book as blank or just with lines leaving it to be a reflective journal. Can you see where I'm getting at?

So read as many reviews as you can and take the suggestions of these reviewers take note of what readers are saying their praises and negative comments, find out what they are this satisfied about the book. This information is really huge. What you're going to do is find out the answers to their questions to their dissatisfactions and deliver whatever it is they are commenting about, of course in your own ebook. The idea of this exercise is to pull out information from the very same audience that will read your book and add this information to your ebook about subtopics that you may have overlooked or discuss just briefly. So We're going to go back to our list here. You can do the same process to the next book that you found on the search, in this case, insane productivity for lazy people a complete system for becoming incredibly productive.

And if you do this, you can get a lot of suggestions for your topic, and you are sure that they are relevant to what people are asking in your topic. Another way of doing research to find out the questions being asked about your topic is by going to one of the most popular forum online called korra.com. Cora is a question and answer site. users go here to ask and answer questions. information are organized according to topics. You can find it here at the left side.

And users also help and work together to keep everything organized. Just like a community. its founder, Adam de Angelo says that Cora is like an online collaborative platform for sharing and learning information. So, let's check the site. Here at Cora, we are going to type our topic, just like in Amazon search bar. And Cora will tell us what people want to learn or know about a topic.

It will even tell us what are the most popular questions and answers. Let's type our topic on the search bar. Let's click on it. We can find these questions that are asked. Read carefully. Always take note of what you think you need to include for your ebook.

Check the different threads you're interested about, and note their popularity. Let's click this question on the top. What's the best way to increase productivity? We can see that there are 100 plus answers. Take note of this. Are there many up votes?

You would want the answer with many up votes. Are there many conversations? Do people ask questions? Do they leave comments? Take note of that. So if we go back, we can see other questions asked about our topic.

Take note of them. If it's your case that you have an E book written already. You can validate your topic and ideas here at Korra. Search it here and learn for yourself what people ask. Who knows, you might even have a new idea about a particular direction or a new angle about your topic. So go ahead and validate your Donal what people are definitely very useful.

For our third resource on where to research short topic, we are going to use the social platform Reddit Reddit. That is a social news and media aggregation site. Members can submit content like a textual post, they can also post links, and registered users can vote which content they like the most. And this content with most positive votes appear on top of that category. These content are called sub reddits. Reddit has a very high volume of visitors with billions of page views and is the number seven most visited website in the United States.

It is said that Reddit is the most influential social news aggregator it simply drives headlines traffic and new ideas So quickly than any other social network. We are going to search our topic here on the search bar and see subreddits about it. Remember, sub reddits are small communities that are organized around a topic in here. Members can submit, vote up or down and comment on posts and links for us to find subreddits that have been proven to work well. We can filter here we can choose. So let's try it out.

Read on the results of the search. If you don't like what you're seeing, you can change the way you ask Reddit to give you subreddit instead of productivity. I will type how to improve productivity. Remember our keywords. We can try each keyword until we have the results that we like. It seems results are better when asking this phrase.

Remember this? When a subscriber posts a subreddit for help? Most likely, he has googled his question already, and probably didn't find or was not content to what he found. You can consider these questions in your ebook. These are the votes. Let's try this.

The With 614 habits that reduce procrastination, multitasking and laziness, so read on that. And you see it has 28 comments. You can read through the comments. Just be aware though, everyone comes here and some use foul language but then stick to your goal while you are here. You want to know what readers ask about your topic. So always think along the lines of developing your content.

What do people want to know? Let's go back. Remember research this according to or it's sorted by relevance, we can change it the top we can see what are the top results so this one has 4000 2600 If you can click on each of this and find what is relevant for your topic by looking at posts that already did well, in Reddit, we say that it did well because it spurred up specific questions and generated comments, or have been appreciated and recognized by the subreddit. By using this type of post, you'll have great ideas to build your content, and you know that it will get traction with your audience. That's how we can use Reddit to find content for your ebook that your audience will definitely love. Use it well and you're on your way to having an engaged and excited readers.

Now, I'm going to show you the results or the notes that I've taken from our research in Amazon, Cora and Reddit regarding the questions People asked about our topic on productivity from Amazon. These are rather suggestions about topics that readers prefer. According to them, keep a reflective journal about your productivity, write what's working and not working, provide proven scientific information, instead of referencing. Many academic studies on health, nutrition, and psychology, provide a roadmap to develop an approach that is best suited for individual needs. So if you are the author, you can take this suggestions and adapted in your ebook so that your readers will be happy seeing it in your content from Cora, these are the questions with most number of votes, meaning most people asked This question, what's the best way to increase productivity? What's the best way to kill laziness?

And this one is a suggestion. Use the one thing in action. Ask yourself, what's the one thing you can do such that by doing it, everything will be easier or unnecessary. You can take this idea and elaborate it in your ebook, and from Reddit. These are the top questions, with most up votes and comments. How to be productive without caffeine, how to be productive every day, how to seize the day, how to use my time to improve instead of finding ways to kill it, how to be productive and build passive income.

I hope this strategy inspires you to find the content that your audience As for you have these resources. And if you have more ideas of where to go, go ahead and find out if there are questions asked by your audience. This concludes our discussion on how to develop content that stand out.
