DESCRIPTION: It is important for preventing injury to always warm up your body both on and off the kit before playing the drums. Try and stay loose, comfortable, and relaxed when sitting at your drum kit.
Arrange all the drums and cymbals so you can reach them easily without overstretching, sit up straight and try and get a good solid comfortable drum stool.
May I recommend practicing using ear protection if you play loud and for long periods of time?
Any exercises just for a minute or two will help like:::,

Circle your wrists (one way then the other)
Circle your whole arms (one way then the other)
Put your thumbs on your shoulders and then circle your elbows (one way then the other)
