This course was designed in a way that each section or module basically represents a phase, and in total, you will have to go through four phases in order to land up with your dream job. The first phase of building a winning resume is the time that you have to invest in order to draft a resume for yourself, which is something similar to a product brochure, which displays all the key elements and features prominently at the very beginning. Building a winning resume will take time and many times before you come up with the final product. Concurrently, you will have to customize and polish your resume according to each application by looking at the job description and the organization or industry that you're applying for.
The second phase that is hunting for opportunities is the time that you will have to spend networking and looking for job openings around you. Now this is a very tough phase to go through because there will be times you have Applying for a position. But you never heard back even after weeks go by looking for a job is like searching for a life partner, because it is a commitment of time and energy. And your job will be your identity for a certain period of time. So you must be patient and choose wisely. After this comes the crucial phase, when you get an interview call, and you have to prepare for it.
You already know that there are 10 types of interviews that you can expect, and each one of them has its own challenges. So you have to prepare in a way that you are fully prepared to address such challenges. But having said that, the basic rules of a great interview will always remain the same, like for example using the start approach to answer questions, but you will have to fine tune yourself according to every interview type. So prepare, practice and rehearse but try to relax on the night of the interview. Following this comes the last phase, which is your actual interview, or that one or that will basically decide your fate with that organization. Like I've said before your interview starts the moment you set foot in that organization.
So be mindful of things around you and try to observe so that you can bring yourself in the desired state of mind. Your introductory page will be the starting point of your interview. And you have to make sure that it is attractive in a way that the interviewers want to listen to more Your job will be to convert that job interview into a job conversation, so that the interviewers start picturing you in the job. Now you already know the kind of challenges that will be thrown at you during your interview. So deal with them with confidence and show them what you're made off.
