Imagine this scenario. NET after passing a couple of tests, solving online tests and so on, you receive an email where the company of your dreams is calling you for an interview, and you are over the moon when you're going through that email. However, you stop at this particular line which says that prepare yourself to stay for the interview for at least three to four hours. What could that possibly be? Well, my friend, there is a possibility that you have been invited for an apprentice style interview. Now, this style of an interview is not very common, but still there are certain organizations especially related to engineering or sales, which employ this method of shortlisting candidates in this format.

What interviewers want is not to hear what you can do, but they want to see it in person. In most probability, you will have to resolve various problems, come up with the plan and present it to a group of people so that you can get shortlisted. So instead of getting panicked and freaking out on what's going to happen, I would suggest that you start preparing without wasting any time, and look at it in a way that this might be a chance for you to shine. So the first thing that you must do when facing such a challenge is that you must portray energy. And you can do so by having a positive body language portraying confidence in what you're saying, and maintaining eye contact wherever possible. At the same time, you will have to establish a rapport.

When you enter the room, you have to meet and greet all those individuals who will be around you and try to engage with the group in a very positive manner. The second suggestion would be that while staying confident, you try to play on your strengths. So if you feel that you are good at public speaking, don't shy away from giving a presentation. At the same time. If you think analytically, you are good and you're good with numbers, try to give in calculations with which you are able to impress those who are evaluating you. While doing so.

In this style of an interview you will be provided with various resources. For example, you might be able to use your laptop as well or they provide you with a laptop and all the stationary multi We'll do everything will be available at your disposal, then very important thing over here is that you have to lead but you cannot overpower. Then finally, the last thing that you will have to do is that you have to stay calm at all times. Because when you are presenting you will come across a lot of criticism and you they will try to put you down just to see how you perform it.

No pressure situation, and whether you are able to justify what you have said, in a positive manner. So you can expect a lot of criticism in such an interview. And at times people can get very rude as well. But that is perfectly fine because you're being professional. And they're basically criticizing Not you, but your idea or your suggestion. So try to defend your idea, not yourself.

Keeping these tips in mind. This format of an interview, personally speaking is very challenging, but also a lot of fun at the same time. So my advice to you in the end is that try to enjoy this whole phase because it will be a learning process for you as well. Remember, these are situations and circumstances that you will face very regularly once you start your professional careers. So this is a great opportunity to portray your skills in front of the Management Committee. And if you are hired through this format of an interview, you will have a very good and a positive start in the organization.
