It is very rare that you will get a job after giving just one interview. Because in normal circumstances, interview is a process. And you have to please a number of individuals to land up with a job. Now in the interview process, you will come across a number of individuals who will basically judge you, from the receptionist all the way to the CEO, their job is to judge you, and they can even form opinions about you as well. Now, if you're not meeting them for the actual interview, you don't need to get their approval. But that does not mean that you get their disapproval.

This is exactly why I said in my previous lectures that your interview begins as soon as you set foot inside that organization, any misstep in front of a receptionist or even a tea boy or someone who's working over there can ruin your chances to succeed in deadly opposition. So always be at your best behavior. be professional, be respectable, show manners, and try to focus on the challenge that is in front of you. After this, we have the interviewers or the individuals that you will be meeting and we'll be assessing You now over here, they can only do the next of the following things. They can either approve or disapprove you hire you or not hire you, in case they approve you for the next round of interview, keep in mind that they will only refer you, if they feel that you will be able to keep the reputation in front of the next person whom you're meeting, because the next person whom you meet, will basically judge the person who has referred you to that individual.

At the same time, let's assume if they hired you, they will do so only if they are hundred percent sure that you will be able to represent them in a respectable manner and all the other individuals with whom you will be interacting with will form a positive opinion about you, because at the end of the day, everyone around you or all the individuals related to the role that you have, will judge your line manager based on what kind of talent he or she likes, and promotes his team and in the organization. So as I mentioned earlier, your primary objective in all these interview processes is that you have to portray yourself as a very recommendable person If you are able to do so, you will easily be able to move on to the next level or even end up with your job. Next I will share with you a checklist of how you can be recommendable and the kind of questions that you need to ask yourself beforehand so that you can prepare yourself accordingly.

The first question that you have to ask is that what will be the outcome of this interview? Will you get hired or not hired? Or will you get approved or not approved for the next level? Either way, you have to fine tune yourself in a way that you are recommendable for both the next level or if it is your final interview then for the actual job. Then the next question that you have to determine Is that who what kind of a decision maker is the interviewer is he or she a quick decision maker or whether they are a logical or an emotional decision makers and they take time before they come up with the final decision. Either way you have to account for these things because these will help you maneuver yourself in a way that you are able to please him or her in the best way possible.

So during the interview, try to determine In the personality of the interviewer, which only you can do so while you are having a conversation with him or her, and while doing so try to determine all the hot buttons that you need to avoid. Now these you can determine by the facial expressions of that individual. When you share an answer with him or her the way they respond back, you will understand whether they have liked or disliked that comment. So what I'm trying to say is that you have to be on your toes during the interview. So you can assess all these elements that I've just mentioned. And then finally, the last question that you need to ask is that what are the key elements of that organization that you need to account for, and these will vary from organization to organization.

So keeping these things in mind, this is a checklist that you must consider before appearing for the interview, and certain things you will only be able to determine during the interview. So keep these questions in your mind when you pay for the interview, so that you are able to please them in a positive manner. In the end, I would like to tell you that if you properly understand the overall interview process, it will become easier for you to fine tune yourself accordingly. Like I said, each individual that you're meeting during this process is like your customer and you have to sell yourself in order for you to land up with your dream job.
