Welcome to procreate essential steel Ultimate Guide video series. I'm very excited to present you this video series completion that I've put together that covers every single option and tool in this amazing digital illustration application known as procreate. For this video series, we're going to be working with the version 4.3 point four procreate, which is the latest at a time of the creation of this class. And this version comes with a few new features that are really exciting and we're going to be covering those as well. Such as how to add text and import fonts in procreate, how to create animated gifts from your own illustrations. There's a couple new blend modes and finally the new streamlined pressure editing for your brushes.

We're also going to be covering everything that is entailed in procreate including the canvas section, which is the first thing that you see once you're loaded. procreate, you may notice that the thumbnails are quite different that is if you just installed procreate on your side on your iPad, and that is because I have been using procreate for quite a while and this is where I store all the illustrations that I use or created for my YouTube channel. We're going to be covering the options that we see here at the top right of the canvas section, including how to properly set your canvas and save them as custom layouts for the future. As well as all of the options once you head into one of the illustrations, such as the Actions menu, the adjustments, the selection tool, the move tool, and then on the right side of the top bar, the brushes, the smudge tool, the eraser tool and the layers with all its layer options.

Finally, the colors menu, where we're able to tweak colors and change hues in many different ways. But also the ability to save your colors as favorites into your own customized palettes. One thing to note for this video series is that instead of me going from the top left, all the way to the far right, or vice versa, we're going to be learning procreate in a creative way, we're going to be creating all sorts of shapes and graphics and using and referencing to the options that procreate gives us. But also we're going to be taking deeper looks into many of these menus and submenus therefore learning all the ins and outs of this program. If you have been using procreate for a little while, this course may still show you a couple of new things that you may not have seen or even heard of. That might actually increase your productivity as well as if this is your first time here using procreate this course is also perfect for you.

Because you will be able to learn at your own pace and speed, all the options and features of this application. And finally, we're going to be doing a couple assignments throughout the duration of this class. And I really encourage you to take them go through the assignments, and also take notes if necessary, so that you memorize and you don't forget anything that is shared here doing this course. So now without any further ado, let's get to it.
