Hey everyone, welcome to this lecture, how to draw a scatterplot on Minitab. Please download the height and weight data from the resources section of this lecture. Copy and paste the height and weight columns from the spreadsheet to Minitab. Choose graph scatterplot. I repeat, choose graph scatterplot. Select simple.

Then click OK. Under y variables, enter height in inches under X variable, enter weight in kilograms. Click ok. Here you go. This is the scatter plot. The X and Y variables are indeed positively correlated.

As you can see the data points are moving In an upward direction
