This is how we're going to set up your Google My Business free marketing account. So I just simply went into Google, and I put Google business. As you can see, this is what comes up, you're just going to go into here and Google My Business stand out on Google for free. And you're gonna click in here. Now, this is how you register your Google business account. Now you should have a Gmail, create a Gmail, email, so it's easy for you to go in and out of your Google business account.

So just take your salon name@gmail.com and keep that specifically for this purpose. Now, I am just going to show you what this page looks like. You are gone to manage now. So you're going to go in and you're basically going to sign up then it's going to take five to seven days for them to send you a verification verifying your address. It's a piece of paper from Google with a verification code. You will go back into your Google account that you create, which is going to look like this.

So this is my Google business page, I access it. Let me just show you where it's access through, through my Gmail, you touch here, Google business right here, you click into here, and it opens up this page. That is easiest way to get into your Google business account. So of course, my plan has been up and running a while. So it's verified. And it will tell you when you get the paper in here, it just says verify and just put in the five numbers or four numbers that it gives you.

And you're ready to rock and roll. So in your Google free business listing, this is one of the most under used tools on the internet, because let's face it, guys, when someone wants something, what do they do? They Google it. So here's your homepage. All right. info, very important.

So you go into info You want to make sure these are specifically targeted to what your client attraction is, who's your client who you're trying to get inside your salon or spa or Medi spa whatever type of beauty business you have or holistic practice you have. So this is the name of my page. And then under here I have all these other tags that are I could stick in here, hair salon, beauty salon, organic organic shop, organic food store, hairdresser, holistic medicine practitioner does because they do practice guided imagery and stuff like that. We could also put we could put haircuts. I mean, you know, it doesn't have to be they have to look down here and see what words they give you. Let's just say hair extension technician, okay, I don't do hair extensions, but we'll just put that in for argument's sake.

Manicures would help if I spelt it right. So it doesn't give you a manicure. We can look at hair styling have to play around with this and see what words again hair salons coming up again. So we don't want to be listed twice in hair salon. So let's put it that was it if your salon offers eyelashes and you have to look down a list of what people are searching for, okay, so, make this list. I'm going to just take this off because it doesn't pertain to me and I'm going to close this That, okay?

Now, not only is it important to list as many things in here that people may be looking up on Google, you're also going to go into where it says labels and you're going to do the same thing. As you see here, I have organic hair dye, organic hair color, non toxic hair care, you see the list of stuff that I have here, enter in here, whatever resonates with what your clients are gonna be googling. Super, super important because these are the keywords and labels that are gonna make your product pop up for these people. Now make sure you have your address down service areas, this is really important. I was putting the jersey mamas county because this is a local business, my hours of operation, phone number, create a custom URL you just touch here and then you just put your salon name with With the separation and you can create your own custom URL.

Always have your website in here. I have two websites. So I have one. This one is in here at the moment, but I do have more than one and appointment URL which I just direct them to the link of my Facebook business page so they can see more about me. You can list products and edit products that you sell my services I have listed here, amenities, the more stuff you include here, the more stuffs gonna pop up. Now, what's super, super, super important is that you post things now as you can see here, your website's gonna pop up which is the URL that Google gives you So you already automatically have a URL that Google gives you even though I have a separate website.

Does that make sense and these are different promos I had posted, everything you post on here comes up along with testimonials and reviews. And this is the gallery. This is what people see when they click on as to what you're about, but without even leaving this page. So all of this is populating Google. So when people punch in anything in your local area, they're going to see that now post. It's really important that whatever you upload to Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.

You also upload here now here you can see here's a, an offer I created. The fun thing with this is that you could share this offer. You could share it to Facebook, you could share it to Twitter, you can copy this link and email it to your list. You can repurpose these Products anything so you could put an update and event an add offer and add product. So here was another post I had created. And I just put call now, and it just asks people to call and book a call with me.

The more you post, the more you're gonna populate the Google so it's really important for you to continuously post what you're doing so we're going to go back to home and let's just say that um let's just say that I am gonna put hold offices here. Okay, so I'm going to create a post for today. Okay, I posted this the other day, it's gonna expire, but I'm going to create a post Now I can upload a video, I can upload a picture, I can upload a series of pictures, I can upload pictures of hair. What I'm going to do is I'm going to actually upload a video where I am talking, actually, you know, and I posted that right? This is all hair videos, hold on a second. You go back here today.

And guys, you could be as creative as you want to be. This is one way or the other. I'll post this, but you can post videos of your work videos of what you're doing. I should say. Complimentary blowouts. Call or service.

And always remember, the dollar value, always put a value of what you're giving away. Now here, you could say do you want to have a button where they can click in buttons are great. I'm going to put call now, because I want them to call me. So my phone numbers here, and we're gonna publish it. And there you go, here's your ad just went another live ad just went out. Or I have a typo, but I'll go back and fix that.

Let's just say I wanted to post a video. So I'm saying anything you're posting on Facebook and Instagram, you should be just downloading and posting the same thing onto Google. Google is by far, honestly guys so powerful, because it is the largest search engine in the world. And that is where people go to look for our products and services. So you don't want to miss the boat on that. And again, this is one of the most underused products out there that that people are not utilizing for their services.

So this is a video about organic hair color, we'll upload this because once again, this just populates everything. So the more I have online, the more I'm going to be out there getting credibility, how to lower your health. All right, and of course, I want them to take a call to action. So I'm gonna say book, and I'm gonna send them to my website, this time. Because also they're going to see more work or other stuff. I have a book now button, they're also published.

So you see now that video is going to be published, it's going to talk about my haircut, then it's going to take them to my website. Now, this is super important to guys, I want you to see this. Okay, so I'm scrolling down here. Now I had closed my business page. So this is a newer business page for this account. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and deleted the old one.

So all my reviews disappeared. I want you to see this right here. So we are going to copy copy and paste that. Okay. It's copied. So we have this link.

Now we could go to, I'm just going to go to my Facebook page. Let's just I'll show you an example. Or you could email it or you could send it messenger or you can copy and paste it and do it in text on your phone. If I paste that, it's gonna bring them right to the page to leave a review. Okay, and then you could post that on your personal page, you can share it with your friends, you could share that link with your clients. A great tool is when your clients are getting their hair done.

Just have them go right in here and leave a review, offer them like $10 off their next service or whatever for leaving a review on your page. So navigating through here, the great thing is you see lots of statistics. You can see what everybody's doing. You can see all your posts, you can see where your traffic is coming from. You can see where people are really viewing your things you can create offers and products. Let's just say I want to have an event.

Maybe I wanted to have an educational event. at the salon, so I'm going to just put a picture up in here, you know, same thing. Well, we'll make the event a book launch. So book launch. One day we'll do it. I'll make it way into the future.

So we'll do like, I don't know, September, November 9, and it ends the same day. Write, add more details. I can, you know, create an event where I have like, you know, wine and cheese have a party at the salon or a blow dry party. Do I want to have a button do I want them to reserve I want them to sign up. And whenever you pick here, they're they're gone. I could even send them this here.

I'm going to show you a trick. I'm even going to send them here to Amazon. So let's go to my link on Amazon if I wanted them to order a product online see this is how multi faceted. So this is what your thing looks like your ad, your listing on Google when it opens up, okay, and then people could see everything about your business or your posts or your offers and everything else. Don't forget to get people to post reviews every single client that is in your salon you need to get them in the chair on their phone, get them to your Google business page, have that link ready and share it with them and or share with them on a follow up text and get them to review because the more reviews you have, the more business you're going to get.
