DESCRIPTION: The checkpoints when throwing a baseball or softball are used to make sure that our bodies are aligned with our targets allowing us to make accurate throws while limiting the risk of injury. These checkpoints are our foot, knee, hip, elbow, and back of our glove. These checkpoints must face our target and must remain in a strong position throughout the throw. You can either start in this position or have your players shuffle and stop in the checkpoint position.
