DESCRIPTION: A good way to keep the focus of the players is to have them say “HIT” on contact. This keeps the player’s concentration on the ball all the way through contact. Most young players spin off the ball and don’t watch the ball as they hit it. By saying “HIT” the player focuses on the ball the entire time and this will help with solid contact.
