For last noon, we're going to work on a slightly different technique to take my brush, and I'm going to wet the entire hat except for the edges and the body except for the feet. So we'll do the arms and the body. Again, we're leaving out the edges just so that we can control where we put our pigment. Then we'll take some of this water and find an empty well maybe add to brush flows of water and one brush full of this Sandy color pigment. And then I'm going to go in and just add a first layer down here of this very diluted Sandy color pigment. And I'm not worrying about getting any area darker than any other area.
I just want a nice light color. Also not worrying about crossing lines. I just don't want to get it on the beard or on the nose. Once I have that layer, I'll just let that dry.
