Do you spend a lot of time worrying about what if instead of just enjoying the moment of what is right now, this is what happens when we worry about being hurt by other people if we get too close to them. It's also what happens if we fear about doing something dangerous that might occur in the future to us or someone we care about the emotional result of living in the what is is that is one of anxiety and panic. I've worked with a lot of individuals who are worried that they're going to have a car accident, that they're going to choke on food that they're going to be publicly humiliated, or that someone will enter their house and hurt them or their family members. List of the possible what ifs that could occur in our lives could go on and on and on. This worry, prevents people from enjoying life in the moment.

They aren't able to go to parties or attend weddings, they avoid certain foods. They even check doors repeatedly every night before they go to sleep. If they're able to go to sleep. This fear robs them of Their self confidence and their security. In order to cope, they will isolate themselves to avoid any uncomfortable, painful or dangerous situation that might occur in their lives. As a result, these situations often come as a result of traumatic events in our past.

Maybe we really did get sick from expired milk and threw up in the cafeteria in the second grade right there in front of all our friends. Perhaps we did have a tragic car accident or someone we knew know how to tragic car accident, and there was a terrible loss of life. Perhaps we have had our home invaded or someone assaulted us. While there may be many realities to our anxieties, we don't have to let them continue to control our lives. We can become worry warriors and fear fighters instead of laying fear and worry control us The secret to making this change is to understand the true nature of emotions. Anxiety is an emotion.

Anxiety is an emotion as is anger or excitement or happiness. All emotions have our energy in motion or emotions. The word motion literally means it allowed us to move. As in, it's time to move out on a trip or journey. It also come to mean to excite or to take action. Additionally, emotions are temporary.

They come often without any warning, and they also leave just as quickly. The reason that they tend to stay longer is because we complicate their temporary nature and end up holding on to them longer than they were originally designed to be. This complication comes a result of our beliefs, that about ourselves and our world as a result of those experiences that we had and the emotions came from those experiences, experience and emotions were negative, it can become frozen in our psyches. Therefore we need a thought our emotions by challenging our negative beliefs about ourselves in the world. Some of these typical negative beliefs might be I'm a failure, or I have to be perfect. I should have done something.

I'm not good enough. I'm not safe. I am stupid or bad. I'm not lovable. I just can't bear the pain of I'm not in control. Weak, I'm fake, ugly.

And it's all my fault. who, you know, there may be more to that list, but that's enough to make you feel anxious just reading them or hearing them. Now try to imagine what it's like to live with them. Fortunately, you can live you don't have to live with them, you can fight back. I'll be honest, though, the battle was going to be hard and the prize, but the prize is worth it because the prize is you. The other honest truth here is that the only way that you're going to that this is the only way to deal with anxiety.

You can avoid it or find it directly. That's right, you are not going to be fighting anxiety directly. You are fighting your belief about anxiety, and how you view yourself in the world. The problem with finding anxiety is that people try to then measure their success based on whether or not they feel anxious or not. Instead of whether or not they're living their life productively or not. You're always going to feel anxious from time to time I feel anxious from time to time.

But you have to remember and this is the secret about emotions. They come and they go, just let them go. Focus on living life is a much better place. measuring stick. You can use these positive emotions or thoughts instead positive thought of I deserve to be happy. I'm great just as I am.

I'm in control now. I can do the best I can. I'm good. I'm smart. I'm beautiful inside and out. I can make mistakes.

I'm lovable, I'm strong. It's not my fault. I can succeed. And I'm safe now. Submission not going to feel it, even though you say it. And not just it does say that doesn't actually make it so.

But unless you speak out and challenge those negative thoughts, nothing's going to happen. You have to battle this out. And just like any good fighter, you have to take care of yourself. You have to have regular exercise, you have to have good nutrition, relaxation, and rest. These are all important components if you're going to win the worry war. Now to help you do realize yourself as a worry warrior or fear fighter.

I have a handout that you can click on that will give you a little coloring page with a knight and his armor is a great for kids. It's great for adults. To visualize what's like if you were to wear anxiety armor and help you become a worry warrior or a fear fighter. For example. You can have a helmet of happy thoughts. You can have a breastplate of perfect love that protects against your fear, you can have a shield of self confidence.

You can have boots to have you stay grounded and move you through the fight. Instead of avoid the fight. You can have a sword of truth that couldn't break all or rationalize. And you can have a chainmail of support from families and friends. Hey, make up your own ideas about the image as you visualize yourself moving forward and become a world warrior and a fear fighter. Thanks so much
