Let's do conversation analysis. Remember those two conversations from the beginning? And I told you we were going to talk about them. The time is now, let's start with conversation number one read. We should probably break up with each other. I don't think I love you anymore and I'm broke.

Very Finally, I've been taking your money and waiting for you to break up with me, man, your stupid bread. I think I'm gonna pass out my heart. It's broken. friend is the first one to use idiom, and he says we should probably break up with each other. Now he could have said we should probably end our relationship. And our relationship is another way to say break up with each other.

Mary also uses the idiom. She says I've been taking your money and waiting for you to break up with me. Now she could have said, I've been taking your money and waiting for you to don't mean, though, dumped me is another way to say break up with me. And the relationship with me. Right? Similar to and our relationship.

So this situation is a little bit strange. It starts with Fred. He wants to end the relationship. And Mary she's like, Ah, finally, we can all be over. I got your money. In the first part, Fred says, I'm broke.

When he talks about the word broke. He's not talking about like a stick or a pencil and you you break it? No. in this situation. I'm broke means I don't have any money. My money's gone.

I'm poor now. I don't have any more finances. My money's gone. And guess where the money went? That's right. It went to married Oh, she's just so happy with the long hair.

She's got her money back. Right? So Mary said, finally with exclamation mark right? some emotion. Finally, man, it took a long time. That's another way she could express finally.

I can't believe it took so long. Cheese. It's over. Finally, finally. Right. So she was patient at one time and pretending to love bread and stuff.

But the whole time she was taking his money. Fred says, I think I'm gonna pass out. pass out means to become unconscious. Right? Right now he hasn't passed out yet because he's still talking. But he has a whole bunch of emotions, right?

A whole mix of emotions. He's disappointed. He's angry. He's surprised. Surprised he's shocked. Mary is been cheating.

So maybe he feels like oh, I don't feel so good. I'm gonna pass out, but not yet, just my heart. It's broken. And when he says it's broken, he doesn't mean like Mary reached in, grab this heart out and snapped it into. No. He means more like that sick feeling of being upset and depression that happens.

And something in a relationship just goes wrong, and you're upset, you're frustrated, you're disappointed. You're sad, and it's just really overwhelming. It's like your heart feels like it's broken, right? So this situation is not working out so well for Fred. A little bit strange because he's the one that wanted to end the relationship in the first place. And Mary, she's like, great, I can't get any more money from you because you're broke.

So great. It's over. So who knows what the future will be. I don't think they're going to get back together. Hmm. Conversation number two, Kim.

Something isn't right. I can feel it. Are you planning to break up with me? Tell me the truth. You little weasel? Steve?

What? Just because I've started seeing other women. You think I'm gonna break up with you, Kim, your honesty is appreciated, but you're slimeball. This relationship is over, get out of my house. So Kim is the first one to use idiom, when she says, Are you planning to break up with me? Now she could have said, Are you planning to split up with me?

Split up with me? You know, separate is very similar to break up with me. Steve also uses the idiom, just because I've started seeing other women. You think I'm gonna break up with you could have said, just because I've started seeing other women, you think I'm gonna drop you like a hot potato. So this one makes me laugh for some reason drop you like a hot potato. Remember, this is an idiom.

And it just means suddenly one person one part of the relationship just disappears, drops the other one they separate, whom drop you like a hot potato. Like if you're holding a hot potato and you let go, right? It's immediate, it's sudden it happens right away. So if someone drops someone else like a hot potato, poof, the relationship is over. Just like that. Alright, let's see.

Kim starts the conversation by saying something isn't right. If someone says it isn't right, something just doesn't feel right. It means Kim's getting the feeling that something is wrong. There's something Incorrect with this relationship. It doesn't seem right. He doesn't exactly know what it is.

But she has a feeling that something is wrong. Something isn't right. And she calls Tell me the truth, you little weasel. Now a weasel? Let's make sure that we know what a weasel is. Mm hmm.

So let's look it up on. Let's see a picture of a weasel. How about that? Let's look weasel. weasel is a kind of animal, right? So this is a weasel.

If you call someone a weasel, it's an insult. If you see in cartoons, if there's a weasel a lot of times they're, they're like a criminal or they're stealing things or they're doing bad things. So if someone has a reputation as a history of being a weasel, or that someone calls them a weasel, they're not trustworthy, you can't believe them are probably going to do bad things to you or steal something or do something negative When she calls him a little weasel, it's an insult. It means he doesn't trust him. He thinks he's doing something not good that he's doing something he shouldn't be maybe sneaking around or just doing something because remember, remember, something isn't right. Now she wants to know, tell me the truth, you little weasel.

She could have said, Tell me the truth, you little jerk. Tell me the truth, you little crazy man. All right. So Steve continues the conversation. I've started seeing other women. I could have said, I've started dating other women.

I've started having relationships with other women now like friendship relationships, like romantic relationships. Right. So Kim calls him a slimeball. It's actually kind of similar to weasel if you call call someone a slimeball. You're a jerk. You're really mean?

You're disrespectful. You don't respect me. You do bad things to me stuff like that. So it's a weasel. Someone who's a slimeball is not respected by other people, because a slimeball doesn't treat other people very well. Right.

So, in this conversation, we use the idiom twice. break up with me break up, break up with you in the second part. So the relationship between Kim and Steve, not going so well. Steve wants to continue the relationship with Kim the romantic relationship, but he also has other women as well. But you could say Steve is cheating on Kim right. I guess Kim just finds out now that Steve has been dating other women and Kim is not feeling so good.

She's pissed off. This relationship is over, get out of my house, but she's the one with the knife in the heart. The knife represents the baby behavior of Steve right and stabbed her in the heart is horrible. All right, so we just did conversation analysis. Great. Let's move forward.
