So in this video, I wanted to talk about another idea that you could pursue. This is basically building out what's called an Amazon affiliate site. Now, if you're not familiar with affiliate marketing, it's basically when you put up someone else's product, someone clicks on that product to buy it, and then they actually send the visitor to, you know, a sales page through another company, and then you make Commission on that sale. So there's lots of different ways you can do this. But Amazon has a program where you can sign up and they'll basically pay you a commission based on any sale made through your own website. So I've actually designed this website here, I wanted to show you an example.

It's called sculpt clothing. And, you know, I decided to focus on the skull niche. It's basically products and clothing with like skulls on them, you know, bag shirts, things like that little, here's some like alcohol type, glass bottle containers, things like that. So I put a lot of time and effort into actually designing This site. And as you can see, most of the links refer to, they have this little buy on Amazon button. So if I were to click on this buy on Amazon, it actually sends the customer I'll show you here, it sends them over to the same product here, up in the link.

It's kind of hard to see, but I'll highlight there, it's got my affiliate ID. And if someone decides to buy this shirt, I then make a commission. I've made several thousand dollars actually promoting products doing this. I have other sites where I promote different things and other niches. So this is an idea of something you could do if you decide to build a WordPress site. And maybe you're not interested in blogging, but you'd like to kind of build out something where you don't need to put a lot of effort into the back end.

This is a great way to do it. I've also built quite a audience over on Pinterest which I've got this kind of like widget here. So I built this site out so it was very professional looking and people would come and be able to shop around and It would just kind of appeal to them. I've also even added the capability to buy products that are physical products that I'm selling over on Amazon. This shirt here, for example, is one that I had on Amazon for a little while. So this is just something you can also take a look at.

I also did want to show you that over on Udemy, I have a course that I've designed on how to basically build this store. I walked through everything from start to finish, and it's got over five hours of content, I put quite a bit of time into it. As you can see here, there's almost 4000 students and I've gotten almost 20 positive five star ratings. So a lot of people are very happy with this course, I'd pretty much go through the whole structure of everything that I've done to build up that school site. And I use that as a case study. So this is just something I wanted to throw out there is something you could do on the side.

If you're looking to start building something outside of your job. You can also build what's called a regular Amazon niche site. And in a lot of cases what that is, is a site where people will do product To reviews of products that they're interested in and refer people to those products. I know for example, there was someone I followed for a while who they built a website that was just focused on selling those adjustable dumbbells. And since that product is about a two or $300 product, he would make a nice Commission on any of the sales. So that's something to really think about.

But if you're really interested in learning about niche sites, I'll include a link to this course as well as some other websites you can check out to read about that for yourself. Thanks
