So in this video, I really wanted to kind of share my story, talk about my background and where I've come from. Hopefully A lot of you watching this, you may or may not be able to relate to where I'm coming from, but it will give you a better idea of where I'm at today. Why it is that I've created a course like this, just really everything as a whole. So to start out about, I'd say six or seven years ago, I'm I'm 30 years old right now. Really what ended up happening was I got really involved in a home fitness program called p90x. Really, if you're in the United States, you used to watch home commercials like things like that you probably are very well aware.

P90x is very, very popular home fitness program. I ended up going to an event and getting really excited by all these people working out together and I got to meet the creator of p90x which then in turn, I ended up signing up for the what was called the Beachbody Beachbody is the company made p90x, I signed up for their multi level marketing coaching program, which basically I became a distributor of the p90x program and other products that they had such as like shakes and other fitness programs such as insanity, all kinds of different things related to Beachbody. So I did this for two years. And during the time I was building it, I actually ended up building my very first WordPress site. And that was probably one of my bigger accomplishments that I was proud of while I was doing this coaching, I just really was not very good at bringing people in trying to recruit my friends and family.

You know, I just felt like I was pestering people all the time. I just really was not very good at it and try this for two years and just really lost money on the whole deal. I did it for so long because I enjoyed the the fitness aspect and I was working out a lot. So that was something I really enjoyed. Actually, being honest, fell off track the last few years but I've been really really interested in something that got introduced to me while I was doing MLM Marketing. And that was someone that was involved in Beachbody introduced me to the idea of blogging.

So the first year I kind of got started with this I was intrigued by the idea of being able to make some money on the internet by blogging. So what I ended up doing was I started out in another sort of MLM network was called the Empower Network really isn't something I recommend. But it was a place that I started, I really was able to start learning a lot of things about the internet and how you can make money on the internet. That sort of branched me out into figuring out exactly what I wanted to do. Kind of just went around for a year learning all these different things, figuring out what it is I liked. And then I eventually started a podcast started interviewing all kinds of successful people, depending on where you're coming from and your background in internet marketing, if you have one at all.

I interviewed people such as Pat Flynn, who runs the Smart Passive Income blog. I interviewed people such as john Lee Dumas, who has the number one business podcasts on iTunes called the entrepreneur and fire, interviewed all these really successful people, some of them are millionaires. Some of them, you know, are just doing all kinds of different things, really, it was very varied. So I did this for about two years and ended up forming a relationship with a guy that I interviewed in 2013. We decided to start an SEO business together doing search engine optimization, and I managed to pull in over $20,000 in just a few months, selling some services. So that really gave me like my first taste of what it's like to really make a lot of money in a very short period of time, doing something on the internet, really, for myself and not working for someone else.

So from there, he actually my partner had decided to take over the business full time for himself, basically bought me out. I talk a lot about this and another course I have here on Udemy called joint you know, it's basically about four forming relationships with others. So if you're interested in hearing more about that, you can go check that course out. Beyond that, I ended up starting my own digital marketing agency where I then started building websites. For businesses, I started offering search engine optimization. I then started basically getting more clients started earning money for myself that way, and eventually decided to get some jobs doing things along the lines of e commerce.

And now I'm actually working more for myself. I'm doing a lot of freelance work. I'm working on my agency, I actually have an e commerce store where I do drop shipping. And that's kind of my story in a nutshell. So I wanted to share that with you guys and give you some motivation to talk about you know, that you really don't have to be stuck in a job working for someone else the rest of your life. There's ways to get out of that and I'm going to talk about that in the next upcoming videos and how I'm basically I brought my mindset out of working for someone else and why I'm so passionate about doing my own thing and basically being an entrepreneur
