Before we move on, I want to talk about Amazon ECS pricing in one or two minutes just to make things easy and simple for you on Amazon website you have a dedicated page for Amazon ECS pricing and everything explained in detail. I will attach the link with this lecture. But to make things really easy for you just understand this, for every 1000 emails you send, you will be charged 0.1 dollars. So 10,000 emails will cost you $1 100,000 emails will cost you $10 1 million emails cost you hundred dollars. I think the idea is so simple.
Now before I move on, I want to talk about three two important points on Amazon SCPs. The first point is about receiving emails. If you go to the pricing page, you will see that this pricing is only for sending emails. If you are are planning to receive emails through Amazon platform, you will also be charged 0.1 for every 1000 messages or emails you receive. Now I don't think there's really an important topic or point because when you're configuring Amazon RCS, you can receive emails through G suit or any other email or your own mail server. So it's not that big deal.
We are concerned about sending emails about the SMTP server to send emails or not to receive. So just concentrate that every 1000 emails you send, you will be charged 0.1 and this is really very cheap if you compare with any other SMTP service like sendgrid may gone spark post or any other service. Anyway. Now, the second point is about dedicated IP and Amazon ECS. We have two types of IP addresses I will talk about later in the course. What is third IP.
It's free. You are using the Amazon sec s IP addresses. Oh, you We can get an allocated IP address for you. So you are responsible for its reputation for warming up and so on. This will cost you an extra 24.9 $9 per month per IP address. This is not also a big deal now, when you start using Amazon ECS and if you're sending like normal volumes of emails, you will never use a dedicated IP address.
I'll explain this in more detail later in the course. So to sum up 1000 emails is equal to 0.1 dollars.
