So in this section we're going to look at how supplements can improve different parts of the body. And we'll start with the brain. The brain does need a high level of omega three for regeneration of the cells, and also memory and concentration. And also the B vitamins, especially this one would be 12 that works really well for oxygenation of the brain and helping with the thought process. When we're looking at other nutrients. Magnesium is quite a common one that can really help improve mood as well as vitamin D which helps improve serotonin levels and long term mood and vitality.

And so that combination of nutrients omega three, the beet determines magnesium, and vitamin D works really well. And in some cases in deficiency can really be corrected by using a lot more diet through sources of zinc and also supplementation, especially if there's been cases of obsessive compulsive disorder eating distress issues with hormonal imbalances. So those would be the supplements retargeted for brain function as it moves down the body, lungs can really benefit from lecithin and also magnesium, as well as vitamin C about really how that combination helps to relax the airway that also helps with things like asthma and any breathing difficulties, and particularly magnesium. It's a muscle relaxant. So it helps any area of the body that is feeling contracted. The thymus gland which is just alongside the chest area, the immune system that really does benefit from victim in the scenes in that combination of antioxidants can be really wonderful producing the right balance within the immune system to fight in and then it's gone into the system, viruses, bacterias, etc.

And there are various forms of all of these out there now which could really improve the kidney function So you can really target your supplementation resume based on which organ that you want to treat. And also based on the seasons, so there are certain herbs and supplements that are more effective at different seasons, and mentioned aloe vera earlier, which is also a cooling plant. So that is particularly useful for spring and summer with the warmer men. And then you might use things like ginger tumeric black pepper, for example, for kidney function more in the winter months, so you really fine tune in your supplementation regime based on what the climate is do which season you're in which organ you want to treat. And that's really what the naturopathic lifestyle is about is adapting what your needs are based on way Well, what you want to get out of that season, and really changing the supplements with every season, you might find that there's certain common things you would use like the omega three, p returns a magnesium more long term, but then there'll be other things you'd bring in seasonally, which can really help to boost those organs on a seasonal sort of basis.

So having that rotation of supplements can be really useful because it allows your body to rest at certain times and also be energized in certain times. So the system can get really used to supplements and if you're taking supplements day in day out over a matter of years, then eventually those seven stuff work in the same way. So it's always good to have breaks from them, even if it's just like one day a week or even one week a month. So you're actually having that that breaks and the system actually has the time to, to be without them so that when you do take them has a much more potent effect. And so generally won't be able to start in the sacrament regime, the juices start with liver detoxification and the basic format that I mentioned earlier, which is your hormone rebalancing formula. And from there, you might have phases where you take more supplements and then other times Based on your individual needs, and certainly if you're if you're recovering from an illness, you might have supplements in the lifestyle for two years as a regime.

But then after that there might be a need to cut down on certain things or rotate your supplements, as and when you need to based on where you're at on an individual basis.
