DESCRIPTION: In this class, we will start our observational gesture drawing warm-up session studying "Pose and Silhouette" and how that can ensure that an animator gets strong and dynamic key poses for their action. After that, Tony demonstrates the difference between animation on "One's", "Two's" and takes students further into the secrets of "Slow-on and "Slow-out" in terms of animating an animated car experiencing an impact. Tony further underlines the fact that, even with effortless software animation, it is important to override it by applying the rules of "timing" and "movement". (I.e. "To break the rules you first have to know the rules" - which is what this course is all about.) Finally, taking all these things in mind, a simple exercise is requested that reflects an understanding of all this.
