So in this video, instead of looking at big, huge trees in the back, we're going to look a bit more closely at part of the CI. So here I've got a brighter picked up. And by observing this branch, we're going to learn things about enjoying trees, because actually, this structure is very much very similar to a real tree. If we look at it, it's kind of like a little trunk here. And then it's, it goes up with the branches and branches start about there. So it's very similar in its appearance, what is basically just a miniature miniature tree.

So it's, we can think of it as if we picked up a miniature tree, and now we can draw from it. So I'm just going to kind of use some of the techniques that we've covered here. For example, you know if if I observe it today and the trunk is Straight, although it's never really straight, as you can see, it's quite an Angular. So it must be an example of an Angular cheap. And then these branches are bigger than the others. So we can think of it as the chunk.

And then the branch is able to ignore this one, because I would prefer that to come from here. So this would be like my measure for how, how many of these guys are in the overall branch. So here, I would say 1234, it's about five if you want to get like the kind of the very, very, very top are just under five if you don't really care about a particular one. So it's a very delicate tree also if you observe the direction of the branches on the very straight little trunk, so we are expecting something. So the result should be quite quite delicate also. So let's try try this out.

So if I want to put five of these things I should say, maybe it's under 234. Okay, that's fine. I would send you here four and a half because I'm not so bothered about the very, very top. Sure. We just indicate, I want to already indicate where the branches split. I am doing very, very light first of all sketch but also quite rough.

Then this point, I just want to get the details in not so much. The sorry, the structure, not so much the details. Notice that we're not doing straight lines, even if they're sort of a bit straight Asians. They're not really because they're the Angular. And we could always check by going over the negative shape if we look at this form here, and that that form there, we could see if they kind of on the right track or not. So negative shape is also very useful for checking form.

This branch should be smaller. Again, it's up to you if you want to stay very, very faithful. And look closely at every detail. And sometimes it's fantastic fun because we think we know what's most often we don't and it will really improve your understanding of this video Guys have branches of trees of just organic structures really, they're, they're not manmade. So it it's not, they're not the same. You can't You can't tell always if you make a mistake, or maybe this was just really like that.

So you know, because all the angles are kind of different, but they do follow the logic and that's why it's important to, to make studies kind of like this and to observe exactly for this sort of to, through practice, get to understand what the logic of it is. I don't want to make a super boring long video of this. So I'm just going to Do it quite rapidly in order to demonstrate really the techniques I have already explained in the class so that you can continue doing this exercise yourself. So you see the trunk stops here and so if it's stuff that shouldn't be there at all. Then this is where the split the split straight up and I made it just under a few details. See the bots follow a logical so they placed it's quite important that we do end up with a straight lines anywhere.

There's even the straightest ones are not really there's always some kind of a wavy small pattern going on. No, so it's nice to question sometimes you think, Okay, this is like this guy's that way but if you really look closely, it wasn't true. It wasn't like that. So you must you must question Also note where if you want to shaded later, so notes, my light is coming from here. So it hits this way from the right. And that's why we have this shape is on darker on the side and then they cast a shadow onto the back black background, which you can just about see, this is a cylinder more or less right the trunk so you can think of it in terms of that sort of shape.

For what kind of shadows it might leave. So on now, not to make a long, boring video out of this, but you get the idea. So that's if we put them side by side that's trying to capture it. And see it's a it's a very delicate, kind of Little Tree. We could check it that we're sort of on the right track or the negative space here. I would say that that branch maybe goes a lot more to the sideline that as opposed to straight up, but yeah, maybe somewhere in between is a little bit tricky to itself.

And they're here we have a split and then we should have another split, right? So okay.
