Hi and welcome once again to my four seasons painting series, wherever let nature be a guide art teacher. This time we're in winter, where trees stand naked and they're both offering us a chance to study their forms and personalities. Think of this as a new model class. This class will take you on a forest walk in search of your models, and often a fun exercise to train skills from observation to capturing gesture, and the tree character will cover drawing not only the tree, but also not the tree. You'll end up with a heap of studies ready to use a new drawing and painting projects and you'll get to know your trees so well, you might end up making lifelong friends.
