Sliding stabbing knee strike variation
    

To defend against a long staff, chair, or another elongated weapon attack, the defender may use a long-range kick combined with a Krav Maga’s overhead sliding stabbing defense. The kick, with correct timing, will forcibly strike the attacker’s midsection stopping in the incoming blow. If the kick is late, the upper-body sliding stabbing positioning will deflect and redirect the downward blow from the impact weapon.
